Driving in Ireland is SCARY!

Aside from the fact that we have to drive on a side of the road we are not used to.
Irish streets have scary threatening signs that depict all kinds of peril your car and you can get into.

LOL. You should send that last one in to Top Gear (UK car show)... they are having people send in their best road sign finds this season... though they may be done taping already.

Apparently they rule in blunt fear across the globe. That certainly makes me wonder how better our traffic would be here with signs like those.

MMM...Are you supposed to see the last sign before or just as, you enter the water?

Note to self: Put hot coffee down before reading blog. Bad, BAD things can happen. Maybe there should be a sign?

I was ROFL at these. The Irish. Gotta love 'em, and I do - my stepdad (and his 13 brothers and sisters) are 100% Irish. Their dry sense of humor is wonderful - and so was this post. Thanks for the smile.

Ahhh now, they're not that scary...

I find the deer crossing ones we have hilarious because in my 20 years of living here I've never once seen a deer cross a road!

So your supposed to read these signs and concentrate on driving onthe wrong side of the road....

When we were in Ireland, we sideswiped a car and took off its side mirror *within an hour* of arriving in the country! Next time we take the bus :)

Those are great road signs! It's kind of funny because I was taking pictures of the warning signs on the Big Island a few years ago.

(a few are not warning signs, and I think 1-2 are not from HI)

One of my faves is from Australia & involved crocs at a innocent looking marina.
