Ireland: Killarney and a new Tyre

We knew there was a tyre shop in Killarney so we rode the spare till we got there.
On the way we stopped at my favorite place of the whole trip. It was "Molly's Tea Room."
They had the coolest art work and souvenirs. A huge carved druid.
And leprechaun holding an ice cream cone. (We're buds.)
And the greatest scone with clotted cream and jam I've ever had.
It was chilly in the place so the tea was nice too.
Then we finally made it to Killarney and found a tyre shop (not the one I saw in the phone book but all the same). These are the guys who saved the trip.
They had the tyre for my car.
And it was just our luck. They just opened up their shop like a week ago.

MMM.....scones with clotted cream and jam. What a cool looking place. Just like what you'd imagine a tea room to look like in Ireland. HA! Those guys were probably so excited to have you there, their first week opened!

They must have been thrilled you were their customer! You and Beth probably brighten it up wherever you go!

Buds with the leprechaun? It looks like he's makin' a grab for your jewels, and you're politely pushing his hand away as you notice "Not now! People are looking!" lol

Wait, what the heck is clotted cream? I don't think you are supposed to eat cream that is clotted...or would that be cottage cheese??

Jorge,

If only the leprechaun could talk he would probably be saying "We may be faerie folk 'tis true but not so much as to be letting you put your hands down their laddy"

Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Marge and Bart discover a tea house and, like, hang out.

I miss the scones and clotted cream. The stuff in the jar here is so wrong on so many levels.

I love the pix of you and Bethany!! It has tons of atmosphere and you guys are so cute!

Waiting to hear about your Vancouver trip. I have been there a few times. My parents live in the San juan Islands, so it is a quick side trip when visiting.
