Last Time I Was In LA

I stayed a night at the Palomar
and got upgraded to the presidential suite.

It was pretty nice. I was a little bummed I couldn't really enjoy it because it was late, I was tired and had an early pick up. So I pretty much went straight to bed.

But figuring that I might not get to stay in the presidential suite again, I poked around a little first.

Both closets had two sets each of these little cheetah print camisole and shorts combos for sale.
On top of that the robes they provide were zebra and leopard print. It's all part of Palomar's theme of unleashing your "wild side."

So if you ever want to shoot a music video. Do it there. Wardrobe is already taken care of.

The other thing I was really impressed by was how deep the tub was.

This is me standing in it.
It had jacuzzi jets too.
I was going to shoot a picture of myself sitting in it. But when I sat down I discovered it was wet. And it soaked my pants through to the underwear.
Luckily those shorts were in the closet.

Hahahaha... what a great commentary on the room. I especially like that you had the opportunity to purchase the shorts in the closet after sitting in the tub. Speaking of which, that is one seriously deep tub. Perfect place to hide a body.

That must be a Kimpton hotel. I recognize that only because we stayed in a Kimpton hotel in NYC (The Muse), and it had the same "attire" available for purchase in our closet as well. :-)

I'm only remotely disappointed that you weren't modeling some of the wild side under-roos!

No picture of you in the shorts Jorge? Man...

That tub looks awesome! I, however, would likely need floaties in it. LOL Is there a height requirement on it?

By the way, I'm so in love with the pictures and videos of Nunu! She's precious! We're getting another puppy in six weeks (posted pics on my blog) and she's the runt of the litter. I can't wait! We already have a chihuahua names Zoey. Just need a name for the new pup.

That looks like an awesome place. I totally dig the tooth picks. Now, let's be honest, did we really need a picture of your wet pants? I could have lived without seeing that! I have only been to LA once and I must say I am in no hurry to go back. The music scene is incredible, and the whole Hollywood atmosphere is great, but other than that it is too expensive and a filled with pollution. And if you asked me tomorrow if I would live there, my answer would be yes! Explain that one!

Those look like some pretty fancy toothpicks!

Those toothpicks are a Japanese design. The purpose of the top is so that you can break it off. Then you use it as a little toothpick stand. That way you can indicate that the toothpick has been used, and you can reuse it if you want to. Apparently, the Japanese love toothpicks, but are grossed out by the thought of using one that someone else has used accidentally.

what? no picture of you in the leopard print?
oh by the way..you guys are so popular that the president is not having the state of the union address when he had planned it cause he would have to be on the same time as lost and he knew no one would watch it..hahaah

Wow! I want that tub sooo much!
Amazing.

Also those are the fanciest toothpicks I have ever seen.

What a fun upgrade. Great tip for filming an 80's Hair Metal video

Doesn't it make you feel just a little bit ooky that the Presidential Suite is stocked with sexy lingerie? What President started that tradition?

so you wet your pants for your blogbuds, which I love. We have a lap tub, too. LOVE it, because when you're gimpy like me, it's great for physical therapy- and hiding from your cats when you need a break from nonstop nip-addicts.
ps- if you and beth want a rat laugh, check out the ladies home journal, cos I'm there with one of my cuties. (february)

That tub reminds me of those ones that they make for old folks that has a little door on it...LOL

It always sucks to get a good hotel room or surprise upgrades only to arrive too late to enjoy it...

my word verification is "shidi"...LOL
