More on the gingerbread

It looks like I may be doing Xmas blogs into January.
But I wanted to show some of the more successful gingerbread houses that my friends did at our party.
We also decorated gingerbread people. This one appears to be on rollerblades.
This one is mine. Someone said he looked like Captain America (R.I.P.)
And here he is with no pants.
But no matter how good they were, they all ended up in the same place.
Sorry folks, you should have taken them home.

Greetings from Sweden again.
Wow that really looks neat.
And why did you steal Captain Americas pants?.. You're evil!
I like the eyes on the rollerblades one thought.

Oooh... love the "brownstones"!

And who in the world would make a gingerbread house and leave it?

I know this is totally puerile (I cannot resist the lure of the "Comment" button...) but the foot next to the bin in the final photo is really weird looking! Are you sure it doesn't belong to a local troll?!

OOHHH,

you should have send some to me!! They look delicious (you can eat them right?)!

Do you think that they would last all the way to Greece? After all...the ride is by plane :-)

Well cool. All those little sprinkles and toppings must have made for a heck of a sugar rush.

I loved the "brownstones" too. Not to knock houses, but it's nice to see something different.

By all means, keep posting Christmas stuff into January. My Christmas was a bit sparse this year anyway, so at least now, maybe I'll get my full Christmas fix. :)

Christmas is my favorite holiday next to Halloween.

Jorge, I love your facial expression! You look like Mr. Bill saying "Oh No!"

just a thought, kapiolani hospital welcomes any christmas decorations for the children to enjoy. last last year was a gingerbread house (GH) theme, and it so happen my friends had a GH competition so we donated it all to the hospital. why let it go to waste! it will make the kids happy. and this year was just xmas trees, and we did mini tree decorations.

lol that is what usually happens to half the christmas cookies. You get really excited but then they start turning into doorstops.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest, Eggfooyoung! That's so great that you did that. Maybe next year they can donate them. :-)

What is it about people who decorate cookies but won't eat them? This happens at my cookie party every year. I think people think they're "too pretty" to eat and just want to show them off. Well, guess what? I can't eat the 30 cookies you left behind at my house, and since you touched each one you decorated for a good 3-5 minutes and I have no idea if you washed your hands before beginning to decorate them I am probably just going to throw them away. What a waste. ;)
