For My Next Pumpkin

Q*bert

This is my first time using different shades on a pumpkin. I went too thin next to the eye so now it looks like he just woke up and he can't wipe the gunk out of his eye because he has no arms.

Is Q*bert still around? I haven't seen him since the old Atari machine.

  6. Geez Jenea.

Ok. I added word verification to slow down the people who sneak adds into my comments.

And for this one I drew the picture on the pumpkin and started shaving it down.

I made a lot of stencils last year but this year I'm trying to draw freehand.

  11. Jorge,

Thanks for posting your pumpkins. My kids and I have been waiting weeks for these post! You guys carve some cool pumpkins!

This guy reminds me of the creatures from the legend of zelda games. But tell us what that last pumpkin you carved was. We all have different opinions on what it was. And none of us are sure.
    Thanks!

  12. LOL! Q*bert!! Blast from the past... These are so brilliant. Ever since your post last year I've been waiting for the great pumpkin carving posts this year. I love carving pumpkins, but kind of suck at it. Now you've given me some pretty serious pumpkin-carving envy... ;)

Still waiting for plants vs. zombies though. Since you posted about it I can't wait for it to hit the AppStore.

Anyway, have a wonderful Halloween, can't wait for next year's pumpkins :-)

  19. Hey! I'm a fan from Spain. It's really nice to see you on the internet. You are a great actor and your character is one of my favourites on Lost. Aka "PERDIDOS". Have you heard your ADR voice in Spain?

In Spain Halloween is like a new holiday so we have to work as another day but on November 1st we celebrate "Todos los Santos", so it's kinda the same. Party at night, horror look... We even took the "truco o trato".

  22. I really need to buy some pumpkin carving tools. It seems that they work a lot better than the kitchen knives that I've been using. Any recommendations?
