OH that explains it. I must admit to being completely mystified by it, but damn wasn't Emerson's take on it absolutely awesome in a kinda-creepy kind of way.
I live in Wichita and I never saw the spot. I'm incredibly disappointed. It sounded amazing.
I don't care what it's for - any excuse to hear Elizabeth Mitchell giggle...
Got it.Cake is good. Dang you, now I need a slice of cake. Thanks.
Hi Jorge, I found this video!!! Please, look here: http://gawker.com/5495683/lost-finally-explained:)
Yeah. Well we shot it. But that doesn't mean they used it.
I lived in Wichita for a while(now in KC)...so cool!
around my place it's 'MMMMM, pie."
Michael Emerson's terrifying line reading of the word "cake" ALMOST prevents me from ever again eating one...
I live in Salina and KAKE is our local ABC affliate and I never saw it either!! Oh well, I saw it the other day. I wonder what was supposed to be in the background instead of the green screen?
Strange, they didn't even tell you at the time why you were doing it? Director: "Jorge! Stand here and say "Mmm, cake" for me."Jorge: "Sure, because that's not weird at all!"
Jorge,Let them eat Kake!
The Island is CAKE! I knew it.
I thought Michael Emerson made it sound very sexy. (And I know I'm not the only one!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWRh1yskgh0try that one
Youtube's also got it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dt4FuqkpBAc

Speaking of cake...http://jezebel.com/5496714/march-madness-the-cake-vs-pie-tournament
Mmm Kake found here!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dt4FuqkpBAcCheers for the explanation Jorge.
thanks for finding out Jorge - it was pretty funny.....
Huh ... I know the station, but I would have sworn it was a bump promo for Ace of Cakes??!? Weird.
They are going to air the first promo on KAKE this week. (3/30)
It just made me think of Sylar from Heroes. Right after he killed a woman in an office building, her coworkers burst into her office with a birhtday cake. If I'm not mistaken... Sylar's exact words were... "mmmmmm cake"
My grandma used to live down the street from the KAKE studios and it always made me think, "Mmmmmmm, cake!" This makes me smile.
