Sunset on the Beach is Tonight

It's been three seasons since we were there last. But tonight we're back for one final time to celebrate the show in Waikiki.

I heard people were staking their spots in the sand at 8:00 this morning. I hope you guys packed sunscreen. See you tonight.

  7. I tried for weeks to get my hubby to agree to let me go to Hawaii for "Sunset" but a trip from Australia was a bit costly for such an event! Hope you have a great night - can't wait for the premiere of Season 6 :D

  11. Wish I could be there... hope you have a great time! I am so looking forward to the season premiere of LOST! Can't wait! Can't wait! Can't wait! ...although will miss the show terribly when the season ends.

There are very few shows that have grabbed me like LOST. I'm addicted... although my mom does not watch the show, she knows the show and characters simply by me talking about it so much with such detail, such passion.

Anyways... can't wait to see what you end up doing next.

    Take care,
    Michelle

  28. I'm so jealous that so many fans got to see the premiere. I also think it's awesome that you present it in such a way that the public gets to view it as well as the cast and crew. LOST rawks.

Looking forward to Tuesday night. I'm turning off the phone and settling in for a night of good television.

  37. The beginning of the end:-( Wow what a turnout last night it's amazing how far you guys have come since the first beach premiere. We would have made it to the second premiere but on the way there our Daughter decided she wanted to start making her way into this world so needless to say we missed that one. We were not gonna miss this one so we did drag our two kiddos with us and seriously crazy how many people were there last night. Are there plans for a Pau Hana/that's a wrap party? Can I use the Jedi mind trick on you--you WILL invite my Husband and I to the party..hahaha. Ahhh to sit and have a drink with the cast and crew(without two kids in tow) now that would be sweet. It's terrible I have no shame:-) -Angela

  43. Hey Jorge there is some red carpet pics up on DarkUfo featuring you naturally doing some great meet and greet.

  44. Didn't get in from a business trip til after 4PM, so couldn't even get close to the red carpet to see any of you, but the episode was a stunner. I'm still stunned.

  45. We wish we could have been there. We will watch it Tuesday for sure. We're excited for the last season and also sad for it to be over. We've enjoyed watching LOST all these years.

  46. HI JORGE!! You talked to my friend Shauna last night on my phone on the red carpet. We are still on Cloud 9! Thank you so much :)

  47. Thanks for talking to me on the phone last night from the red carpet! It was great to hear the voice of my favorite LOST personality coming through the other end and to give you a big giant hug through the phone...I have wanted to do that since the 1st episode! (well not through the phone but...) Much love all the way from PA! my new facebook profile pic....http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?ref=profile&id=1345883136 :)

  48. I was one of those there from 8:00 am! Long day!

  49. I was one of the people there way in the back behind the screen. We were there from around 8:00 am and we figured that the best spot would be to be along the fence but on the beach side. Jorge was cool and patient. It looked like he signed and took photos with anyone who asked. Some cast members stopped short of us - I guess they did not realize that the earliest arrivals were the people on the beach side. Thank you Jorge! Mahalo! You're the best!

  50. Thanks for posting that great cast shot. But maybe you could post a key, because there are several in the pic I didn't recognize. Maybe they're crew?

In that photo you posted I noticed that Evangeline Lilly is only slightly taller than Yunjin Kim. True that Evangeline is wearing heels, but that only accounts for a few inches. On the show Yunjin looks absolutely petite and tiny, and Evangeline looks much taller than she really is. I imagine for making her look more commanding. The magic of camera angles.

They did the same for Al Pacino, Sly Stallone, Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise, all of whom aren't very tall.

  51. Is that Adewale I see? And I was doing SO GOOD at avoiding spoilers! :O

  52. I would have LOVED to have been there, but I'm way cross country with a crazy dog to watch while the husband is deployed.

I bet it was a terrific view and a fantastic evening. I'm both happy and sad that LOST is ending. I know you guys have other things you would like to do, whether it's taking a break, or working on other project, but I'm happy that the show will have a conclusion and not fade away. You all are the best!
