Hey Jorge, When I read this, I thought about Hurley as a little kid and was wondering: Did you look anything like Caden Waidyatilleka when you were 10? Greetings from Luxembourg
The greeter looks like Tom Hanks did after a year on the island in Castaway! Get as many pictures as you can while you're still in Hawaii- you'll be glad you did. Love reading your blog-you've got a great sense of humor and one darn really cute Nunu!
I always thought this was the Pull My Finger monster. (ah the gateway to Pacific coast highway day trips to Newport Beach, Huntington and Seal- Great memories!)
that dude is creepy.
ReplyDeleteOMG. I used to wave at him too, when I was a kid! I'm glad he's still there, too!

Greetings from Luxembourg
Looks as scary as the giant Amish people outside of Roadside America in Pennsylvania
ReplyDeleteI´m glad you found the greeter again. And I´m glad becouse I met u. Your character in Lost is very nice, but your blog is nicer.
ReplyDeleteI will visit u from time to time.
I liked a lot the post about the gloves in Wisconsin.
kinda creepy. But childhood memories like that do rock.
ReplyDeleteis that guy still there?..the last time i was in laguna beach it was on fire..scary...
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone remember the "Big Boy" or "Happy Chef" restaurants? Nothing scarier to a five year old than a 20 or 30 foot tall fat, fiberglass giant!

ReplyDeleteNow he has a magic finger. What's with the pointing finger thingy?
ReplyDeleteHmm, looks like he could make good use of the magic finger glove.
ReplyDeleteNice pic.
He...he frightens me a little.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does he look like the cowardly lion...,
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought it was the creepy dead pirate dude from Pirates of the Caribbean.
ReplyDeletePero Maritoñi!! Qué haces aquiiii.
ReplyDeleteJorgito es mío desde hace meses. Mío, sólo mío, míiiio... mi tesoro!!!

ReplyDeleteThis has nothing to do with that, but I remembered you mentioning Snuggie with a foot pocket, and...

Damn Angie! You beat me to it. I was going to make a post about this when I saw one at my sister's house.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will anyway.
Thankfully he chose to be a "greeter" and not a physician...just imagine getting a prostate exam from that guy?!
ReplyDeleteJorge,
ReplyDeleteHe looks like one of my uncles! But with twice the IQ.
Lol!
ReplyDeleteWow, I think it looks like the lion from the Wizard of Oz in his street clothes.
