Greetings

When I found myself in Laguna Beach over the holidays I had to stop and take a picture with "The Greeter."
I used to wave at this statue all of the time when I was a little kid and we'd drive by it. I'm glad it's still here.

  1. OMG. I used to wave at him too, when I was a kid! I'm glad he's still there, too!

  2. Hey Jorge,
When I read this, I thought about Hurley as a little kid and was wondering: Did you look anything like Caden Waidyatilleka when you were 10?

I will visit u from time to time.

I liked a lot the post about the gloves in Wisconsin.

  7. Does anyone remember the "Big Boy" or "Happy Chef" restaurants? Nothing scarier to a five year old than a 20 or 30 foot tall fat, fiberglass giant!

  9. The greeter looks like Tom Hanks did after a year on the island in Castaway! Get as many pictures as you can while you're still in Hawaii- you'll be glad you did. Love reading your blog-you've got a great sense of humor and one darn really cute Nunu!

  18. Thankfully he chose to be a "greeter" and not a physician...just imagine getting a prostate exam from that guy?!
