You spoil your dog about as much as we do. Watch out for when she demands a cold beer, her own copy of the WSJ and a Facebook account. Then you're in trouble!
I make mine with less water than it calls for and cook it for just a minute(old fashioned type) and then put peanut butter and sugar free jelly in it...hot dang.
We like it! It has the texture and taste of steel cut oats, but it can cook 3 - 5 minutes! And...you can make it on the stovetop or the microwave. So, if you don't have time some mornings you could try Coach's Oats.
I'm with Nunu- I LOVE Coach's Oats too! I mix a little brown sugar and chopped pecans or walnuts into it and YUM. When they ran out of it at Costco I started ordering it from the company online. Can't live without the stuff!
That oughta keep her regular.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or has this blog turned decidedly K9 lately?

ReplyDeleteAH oatmeal. I just finished making my dog Hermione doggie soup. What lucky dogs we have....
ReplyDeleteIs it better than McCann's Irish Oatmeal? I'm a bit of a freak for that stuff! :)
