  2. Hi, Jorge. I check your blog periodically and get a kick out of it. It's pretty amusing; you've got a good sense of humor. Thanks for the time put in. Take care.

  3. Back as his star was rising, mid-to-late 80's, Mario had a very prophetic idea about fame. He said (and I am obviously paraphrasing) that people used to hear his name and say, "Mario who?" Then people would say, "Oh, Mario Van Peebles." At the time he was telling the story, he was at the "It's Mario VAN PEEBLES!" and it wouldn't be long, in the cycle of fame, when people would start saying, "Mario who?" again.

He's remained a working actor all these years. I will be glad to see what you've done together. I don't suppose you're allowed to tell us if it is LOST related?

    : ) P

  6. Wish I had any idea who that is. Thumbs up for having an awesome name though, Van Peebles.

A more pressing matter: What level have you made it to in "Vasebreaker Endless"? I reached a streak of 21!

  16. Reminds me a t-shirt I used to have, which said "Guns don't kill people. Mario Van Peebles!"

To this day, I'm still not sure why it was funny, but I got lots of good comments and laughs whenever I wore it.
