Got a Gift In the Mail Today

And the thing came in a veritable Santa's Bag!

Here you can see the game I got next to the bag it came in.

So far we've had so much fun with the bag we haven't even opened the box yet.

  3. OK, that is too cute. I have 2 year old twins and they always like the box/bag better then the gift. It's nice to see "adults" with the same whimsy!

  4. Haha, nice! Just like a little kid who plays with the box and ignores the 100-dollar flashing toy inside! I must say, that is one awesome bag!!

  7. Christmas comes early in Hawaii!

I would have been excited about the bag, too. Of course, I like all kinds of containers, baskets, jars, boxes. When The Container Store opened, I thought I was going to go into anaphylactic shock! LOL

    Enjoy,
    : ) P

  8. I once got a stand mixer from a website that starts with "A" and ends with "mazon".... came in a HUGE purple bag, I think we could have put our car in that bag... that's what you get when you click the box that asks you if you'd like gift wrapping, no matter what size gift it is they stuff it in Andre the Giant's laundry bag and send it on its way.

  9. I get that way with large boxes...The only thing is I've got a bunch of people that would probably want to tape the box up behind me and ship me off to Abu Dhabi.

  14. Several of our wedding gifts came in these bags, and we still use the bags to store things in. Guess Target wants to spread a little Christmas cheer year round!

  15. There you guys are!! I wondered how you were doing.

Can't wait to see what you do for your costumes.

  16. Isn't that the way it always works out? More fun with the package than the actual thing. Same thing happens with huge boxes for fridges...so much fun to play in and with!

  20. Love the creativity you two show for every day things. How is your herb garden coming along? We have two pineapple plants growing in pots on our fireplace hearth now. Had to pull them in early last week as the temperatures were going to drop--and did they ever! Loved to plant the tops of the pineapples we ate there in HI in our garden out front. Good foliage!

  22. If I behave myself and act like a good little boy, is there any chance I could get you to put Emile De Ravin in that bag and bring her to me on Christmas Eve?

  27. Jorge,

I know you are an animal lover and will appreciate this. I had to put a sweet 3 month old kitten to sleep today due to illness. It broke my heart. Sitting hear in sad silence I clicked on your blog and said out loud, "Oh good timing Jorge". Your comments and pics of the red bag thingy made me laugh out loud. Thank you so much for making my sad day a little brighter. Love you alot.

  37. Reminds me of a story I heard years ago from speaker that was telling stories about pranks he did in collage. He had an extremely large duffel bag and a very short exchange student room mate friend.

They would put the room mate in the duffel bag and leave him on the door step in front of some dorm rooms in the womens building. Knock knock, run away, the door opens, the guy in the bag starts meowing hissing and squirming like a trapped wild animal......

Yeah, ya get the idea. ;)
