Got a Touch-N-Brush

I would have probably held out except for the fact that the flip cap on the toothpaste broke off and it was really annoying to deal with.

So as soon as this thing appeared in the As Seen On TV store I picked it up.

For those who don't know. Touch-n-brush is a one-handed toothpaste dispenser.
You just push
and presto, toothpaste on the brush.

And it works by creating vacuum suction so it's supposed to suck out all of the toothpaste in the tube. We'll see when we get there.

  1. Hey, Jorge, just an off topic comment to let you know I beat Doctor Zombass! Thanks for letting me know about the game - it's made my week much more fun even if I haven't got much work done.

  2. How is it? I was considering one for the kids bathroom, but I have these visions of piles of toothpaste on the counter under it after they pushed it 500x.

  3. Neat - if it's your own... gross if a family is using it. the heads of everyone's toothbrush touch the same spot during flu season? No thank you!

  4. Jorge,

Now that's the life of luxury! Don't have to mess with opening that darn toothpaste!

  5. Thank God you told me what the hell that is, as I've never even heard of one before. If ever I had ran into one, I would've tapped it a few times and then regressed into grunting and slapping it. "Serve me, Machine!"

  6. I need one of those for my husband, he is constantly leaving the cap off of the tube, and it gets so ugly!

  9. I'm going to follow your progress on this- I've thought about buying one for the kids bathroom. I'm tired of all the toothpaste mess all over the counter and in the toothpaste cap. Of course someone else had a good point- they might get over zealous and press it 500 times. Anyway...let me know how it goes!

  10. Thank God for your product testing. Otherwise how would I know what (not) to buy?!

  11. I want to know how clean it stays. Everytime I see the commercial I wonder how sanitary it is with everyones toothbrush touching the same spot over and over. Ugh.

  19. WHEN DOES LOST START!!!???

Ii is said that this year is going to star later, almost in May because something related with Winter Sport, I don't know, I'm spanish, I don't know a shit about Winter Sport in EEUU, so I can't say if it's really true.

Answer me, please, my cat's life depends on that.

  22. i so wanted to order that!
it came with a shiny gold one too - which cracked me up even more. the old people like to have gold accent touches on their bathrooms for some odd reason.

  35. I was wondering who in the world would buy one of those...

  36. Can't wait for your review and VERY happy to hear that they are showing up at the As Seen On TV Stores. If it works, I desperately need 1 for the kids, because I am SICK of scrubbing the toothpaste off the counters.

  37. I totally have to get this for my kids, who make a hot mess of toothpaste. It looks like it could help! Thanks Jorge!

  38. Jorge, no! ewww. All of the germs on your toothbrush will touch the plastic dispenser which will then touch Bethany's toothbrush.

Although I'm sure she has been exposed to your germs before, getting the ones directly off of your toothbrush is disturbing. On behalf of girlfriends, please no. :)

  39. Ideal para mi hija que se pone muchisima pasta!!!

  40. Cool!!! where do you find one of those?

  41. My kid has been pestering me to buy one of these since the ads started running on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. I'll await your final review before purchase (and will totally blame you if I buy it and my kid makes a mess, btw.)

  42. Boooooo to the spammer in the few comments above!

Jorge, I wait with anticipation to hear hour the dispenser is working for you. I need this for my family, as my kids seem to manage to smear toothpaste ALL over every morning and night, and not even on purpose. :) And to those who 'ew' over sharing germs... well, we kiss each other anyway, right? So sharing germs is less of a worry than toothpaste covering 20 square feet of bathroom twice daily! Ha!
