Atlantis is a resort with its own water park.
My favorite of which was Current.
It's basically a lazy river with occasional rapids and waves.
This is the wave area.
There is even a part where a conveyor belt takes you up a long ramp. This tends to be where the ride gets most congested.
See?
Another part of the ride give you the option of going to the Power Tower where the scarier slides are.
Keep you butt up on these slides because they'll burn your bum.
:D 1st comment Woo Hoo!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh and thanks for the great pics Jorge!
((((((HUGS)))))))
Hola Jorge:
ReplyDeleteEs la primera vez que visito este este blog y me ha parecido interesante, me encanta tu papel en los LOST y la serie en general.
Atlantis parece muy emocionante para visitar con la familia o amigos para pasar un buen rato
A friend of ours went down the Summit Plummet water slide at the Blizzard beach park at Disney World in Florida. He told us by the time he reached the bottom his bathing suit was ripped to shreds from the force of the water at that speed and he was readily "X-posed". He had to hang on to the tattered remains of his suit to cover up.
ReplyDeleteHa! I went on one of those "lazy river" rides as a kid and I was only supposed to go around once. However, it was so awesome, I stayed on for, I dunno, 3 or 4 rotations. My mom flipped and had security looking for me. Haha! Then she saw me and ran in, fully clothed, to grab me. It was humiliating. Freako mom.
ReplyDeleteIf I told you I was a veteran who served my country for 22 years, would you take me with you next time?
ReplyDeleteSo, we don't get to see you in trunks or does Miss Beth wanna keep you all to herself?
ReplyDeleteBurn your bum or give you an enema... not like I speak from experience or anything.... >_>
