This is the first comment on my last post.

HEY! Nothing to do with your BLOG but I just came from the SPINAL TAP concert at the Paramount theater here in Oakland, Ca. and they gave you guys (LOST) a shout out! BY SPINAL TAP! They said they were sorry we were all going to miss the show tonight.

Thanks for letting me know CJ. (Can I call you CJ?)

Beth is so jealous because she LOVES them.

  1. I had no idea Spinal Tap were still performing. Genius band. And the shout out, fully deserved!

  5. So hey, Mr Garcia... I had this dream about you... Ummm, will Miss Beth come kick my butt now?
In my dream you and I were at some party and somebody hurt me somehow. So I dragged him over to you and said this was the guy who hurt me. You dragged him off to hurt hium back. I don't really recall anything else in the dream, just that.
So, either I am really addicted to Lost... or I'm crazy. Maybe both.
So thanks for coming to my rescue, but I wonder why I needed it when I am 6ft and 2hundredmumblemumble lbs. Hmmm.

  11. Well CJ, it was convenient that the Spinal Tap show was last night, because there was no new episode last night! Just a recap. Still very nice, put a lot of things in perspective.

  15. Last nights recap show showed the clip of you throwing the hot pocket at Michael Emerson.
How excited were you when you found out you got to throw a hot pocket? It just looked fun.

  16. I was at that concert last night too. They thanked the audience for coming out on a wednesday night and missing Lost to see them. They told us to just go to the Orchid and turn the wheel and we should still be able to catch the ep. Made me love them even more.

  24. Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
    Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
    Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

  26. This is timely - because we NEVER miss LOST, but we did last night because we went to see David Sedaris. I was having guilt (but not enough to miss his show.)

Would LOVE to see the Spinal Tap/Mighty Wind group!!! Alas, they are not coming through St. Louis!

  27. Bill Hicks - "Life is like a ride at an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it's real, because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud. And it's fun, for a while.

Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: 'Is this real? Or is this just a ride?' And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and they say 'Hey! Don't worry, don't be afraid - ever - because... this is just a ride.' And we kill those people.

'Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride! Shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry; look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real.'

It's just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that - ever notice that? - and we let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because... it's just a ride, and we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort. No worry. No job. No savings and money. Just a choice, right now, between fear and love."

  32. Wonder if Charles J. is my cousin.. hmm same name and first last name initial... I can tell you the whole time we were living on O'ahu, I kept praying I'd run into some of the productions or actors. We left there in 2006 (military move back to the mainland) but have wonderful memories--including our daughter being baptized by her grandfather on Malekehana Beach where the first plane crash occurred. There are only a few shows we watch every week and LOST is our #1 show. Aloha and mahalo for the great work!

  37. In 1981, ed hardy and his wife formed Hardy Marks Publications. In 2004, Christian Bale licensed the rights to produce the high-end Ed Hardy UK line, which is based on Hardy's imagery. Prior to the ed hardy clothing line, Bale was the Head Designer at Von Dutch Originals, which marketed the imagery of Kenny Howard. Don ed hardy, commented, As demand for my artwork continues to skyrocket, I felt it was ed hardy clothing time to take on a partner that could help me manage the demand and opportunities for the ed hardy T-shirts name. Iconix is at the forefront of brand management and clearly has the capabilities to dramatically grow the Ed Hardy UK business. I'm thrilled to have them as a partner. Cheap Ed Hardy are located in everywhere. We also believe that by owning the brand alongside ed hardy clothing, the founder, there will be opportunities to further leverage his iconic name along with his new artwork.
