This is a picture I took with my phone the first time I got to check out my very own Dharma Patch. It's only pinned in place because I was still getting fitted for my jumpsuit.
I think it is the coolest Dharma patch of all! Love the way they crossed the cutlery LOL. Wish they would sell better shirts and hats online. The designs they sell the public kinda suck. They should make the items look more like you work for Dharma, Oceanic or Ajira for example, and I would buy something...
I found myself wondering whether they measured and fitted everyone for their own jumpsuits at processing, and is there a Dharma tailor who changes the basic jumpsuits to fit each new recruit or someone makes them from scratch for each person, and how many jumpsuits each person gets.
Just so you don't have to intern with that chef who yells and throws tantrums...congrats on the new job - nice looking patch. Loved your scene in the last episode with the waffles.
I haven't read all the comments; so I hope I'm not being repetitive.
I LOVED how you suggested to Jack that he use the maple syrup, because it "brings out the ham." It was beautiful. Like you really were where you belonged.
I would so be a Dharma chef if I ended up on the island.
What is it with the Dharma jumsuits anyway? I bet there would be a lot more attractive unifoms then those things!!!
ReplyDelete:) ha ha so fun ^_^
ReplyDeleteWell Kate, it is a jumpsuit.. Don't think they are ment to be sexy :P
ReplyDeleteBut nice to see your very own jumpsuit Jorge, it looks groovy ;)
You are chef - cook !!???
ReplyDeleteNice. I want one.

ReplyDeleteI think about these things too much.
I know some guys who went to a party dressed as Dharma Initiative employees! :) I still think it is a great idea for a costume.
ReplyDeleteI just watched this episode yesterday, and the patch cracked me up. I thought it was a skull and crossbones at first, too.
ReplyDeleteThat was a pretty awesome patch. lol It looks like a logo for a pirate cook or something
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see the 6 in Dharma suits. What a twist! Loving this season so much - and your blog is one of the best I follow too!

ReplyDeleteI love the patch, I noticed it immediately when I saw it on the episode. I'm glad you get to do something fun, instead of being a dharma workman!
ReplyDeleteI've seen people already using that new DU logo as an avatar.
ReplyDeleteooo...very cool! I would have totally wanted to swipe that patch to stick it on my every day clothes! haha!
ReplyDeleteI want my own Dharma jumpsuit! They should sell them online.

ReplyDeleteI need a jumpsuit. It would solve all of my clothing issues.
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun if they sold these--what a fun Halloween costume it would be!

ReplyDeleteThat patch is ROCKIN!!!! I want one to sew (ok, if I have to do it it will be GLUED) onto my sweet apron that Mom just made me.
ReplyDeleteBest. Dharma logo. Ever!
ReplyDeleteSo I take it you're going to be "Hurley Cook" or "Hurley Chef"? So much better than "Roger Workman."
You are sweet my friend, I'm blowing you kiss sweetheart.
ReplyDeletelovd-bd
Love it! How might one go about procuring a DI chef patch? I would be the envy of all of my friends with one of those on my apron....
ReplyDeleteWell of course they made you a chef. What else? A fitness instructor? LOL
ReplyDeleteOMG! Did you guys notice the close up?
ReplyDeleteThat chef's hat had 5 wrinkles in it, which is exactly the number of fingers Michael Emerson has on his right hand...
and his left hand.
JORGE,
Are you going to be on a "Secrets of LOST" on Jimmy Kimmel, or are those all done?
Very nice. A Dharma lunch, please! :-)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if it was made out of something at least breathable or if it was icky polyester.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me smile.
I LOVE your blog Hurley!
ReplyDeleteThe Dharma logo with the crossed cutlery reminds me of a pirate flag. Dude!! Are we going to see pirates in season 6?
ReplyDeletegood)
