darn, now I remember what we were missing! Cranberries..dang! Your feast looks like it was amazing, hope you enjoyed good company and the wonderful weather we had today on the island :)
OH NO NUNU! We know we're not supposed to give our doggies "people food", but my 95 year old grandmother was sneaking my little Rosie food and pie from the table! Needless to say, she is sleeping it off. (The dog, not my grandmother. lol)
Waitaminute...the serving on your plate looks almost exactly like mine (right down to the drumstick). By any chance, did you & Bethany order your take-out Thanksgiving dinner from the Kahala? We did...very satisfied with the moistness of the bird & all the fixins' (so was big 'dummy' Trevor, my cousin's golden retriever).
Happy Turkey Day (a day late)! I was only in Hawaii twice (when I was 18) and once was during Thanksgiving. It was one of the best thanksgiving meals ever. It was a thanksgiving luau. There were tables and tables and tables of food. They had all the traditional thanksgiving food AND the luau food. Heavenly. MMMMMMM.
That is simply a wonderful pumpkin pie. Or squash pie like we make in Canada. Afterall a squash is from the same family as a pumpkin! Don't tell the squash that he's an inbred!!
Oh man... Your chihuahua and my chihuahua roll the same way - follow dad around and mind control him in to letting you eat off his plate. I hope that noise about dogs' mouths being cleaner than humans' is true!
That plate looked like mine yesterday! Everything looks so yummy! That last picture of you sneaking Nunu the food was so cute. You had that 'guilty' look in the photo. LOL! Too sweet. That pumpkin pie looked great too. The master of carving and baking pumpkins!
I hope you & Beth (and Nunu) had a great Thanksgiving!
Heh... My sister in law was making rolls (from scratch) for the whole family (about 50 people). She left the final plate on the edge of a counter and of the 14 on it, her dog ate seven. The funniest part is that he clearly did it one at a time, as evidenced by the spacing. :)

ReplyDeleteCute! Happy thanksgiving~
ReplyDeleteSo how is a thanksgiving dinner different to a Christmas dinner - or is this just an excuse to eat the same dinner twice in a year.
ReplyDeleteOh that does look delicious. You know maybe you should put some recipes up... unless it is a secret of course :)
ReplyDeleteAnd that dog is priceless :)
Oh sweetie dog! My little dog Pepe has the same attitude while I'm eating, though...
ReplyDeleteOh that looks so yummy. Our thanksgiving was the the beginning of October. Oh how I miss my moms pumpkin pie. Yours looks very good!

I think my dog is still high on tryptophan....and I'm still stuffed. Looks like you, Beth and Nunu had a good (rain-free!)one as well.
ReplyDeletelol I have a similar pic of my two dogs looking longingly at the turkey...so I threw them some deer sausage outside when no one was looking.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your fam!
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving is my favourite meal of the year.
ReplyDeleteThe last two photos & captions made me lol :)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Jorge.
ReplyDeleteHow can you resist Nunu's big eyes?
Huuuuuummmmmmm

ReplyDeleteNunu is probably smaller than the turkey. Or the pie. Because that pumpkin pie looks huge!
ReplyDeleteAt least you had just ONE dog begging... and that pie looks WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Turkey Day!
Looks like good pumpkin pie!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY THANKSGIVING! You did a great job on the pie!
ReplyDeleteAlthough we don't feed from the table - all of our critters expect a little something on Turkey Day. Glad it was a happy day for Miss Nunu too!
Did you do the whole shopping crazy thing today?
Hope you're off all weekend.
Can't tell you how we are chomping at the bit for our January LOST fix.
Be well!
