Well, how's the surfing where you shoot? Is it anywhere near the famous surf spots?
Have you checked out any of the active lava sites yet? Some people actually make Hawaiian figurines by pouring the fresh lava into molds. I have a vintage Coco Joe Tiki statue made of lava. :-)
Do they really celebrate King Kamehameha's birthday in June?
That's all that I can think of to ask about for now, that doesn't pertain to the show. :o)
My doberman ate a diamond stud earring my husband gave me for our 10th anniversary. Came out the other end, but was really mangled. She never tried to eat a rock, LOL, that would be tough on the teeth. OUCH.
I actually just got back from Midway Atoll - all the way up in the northern most section of the chain. It's beautiful up there - the dolphins, Honu and Albatross birds were amazing. Got to spend a couple days in Hono and North Shore of Oahu. You guys are so lucky to get to shoot there. Went to couple of the spots where you guys shoot and it was amazing...I'm such a fan!
Dogs are the greatest!! My dog has never eaten a rock, but she loves to roll in dead animals and poop. Why is that?!
I don't have a dog but my sister has a hell-hound that has eaten most of her shirts, a cell-phone charger, a pair of glasses, 27.5 pairs of shoes, 10 pairs of my bro-in-law's boxers, 1 cat, and part of their wall behind the TV. I kid you not.
~Allo.
P.S. Lost or no Lost, I'll still read your blog, dude. You're too awesome for me not to read.
Aloha, my dogs do that roll in dead animals and poop too! I hate that! One of 'em does just so he gets a bath 'cuz he loves baths. The other one runs away from any water except the drinking kind.
Wow Jorge, pretty cool that you take time to read LOST fan websites! I'd like to know what you do when you're not working? Do you stay in Hawaii or return to the mainland? I visited Hawaii once. Thought it was paradise-like but I think to live there full-time I'd go a little stir crazy on those small islands after a while.
So glad to hear you're going to keep writting here. Whatever you want to talk about, I'll be reading it. I already asked you two questions at the Lage today...by the way, do you prefer people to talk to you in Spanish or English...
so sad to hear they want to shut you down but thanks for trying!! it really does mean so much to us fans. something else to talk about...movies and music are always something fun to chat about. as for dogs eating everything- i'm very thankful. i used to feed the food i didn't like that my mom made for supper to the dogs!! ah a man's best friend :)
Hey, Jorge, glad to see you back. I told you about my dog, Hurley, yesterday. He's great, but he does have the bad habit of chewing up kleenex. I don't understand the attraction to that, but I guess it's better than rocks and poop. lol
I'm wondering what being famous is like. I don't think I'd like to lose my anonymity. Just wondering how you feel about it. I'm sure there are perks, but do the perks outweigh the loss of freedom?
So glad you decided to stick around and just blog un-Lost things! I'm sure we'll find plenty of things to talk about without getting you in trouble! I'll be checking in daily.
I'm a regular over at The Lost Community. We're filling in the hiatus with a Lost Book Club...reading and discussing books that have appeared on the show or have been important to the show.
Re the subject of the day: My three cats are more finicky! LOL
My dog eats my cat's crap out of the planter. I have tried everything to get him to stop. His vet says there's nothing wrong with it and that actually its nutritious. I'm dubious about that, but I guess he knows more about dog nutrition than I do.
Jorge don't quit it man. There's plenty of stuff to talk about besides the show. Talk about the cast. Talk about ya'll going out to eat. Talk about your favorite memories from previous seasons. Or just keep with random thoughts, those are always entertaining. Just keep the faith man.
My cousin's had this cat and then they got a dog, and the dog kept eating all the cat's food so it starved to death. . . Not exactly sure what my point was. They had a funeral. It was weird.
Awesome blog. I hope you keep posting even if it's not work-related, bosses know how to suck the fun out of, well... fun. Even if they don't mean to. Hope to hear more from ya.
I live on oahu (makakilo) and I am the biggest fan of lost on this island! I am so glad you chose to post on DarkUfo's blog because, in my opinion, it is the best! I refuse to go on the ABC sites anymore because the people (posters) there are so RUDE.
I love your work and it doesn't matter if you can't post about it...just blog about what plate lunches you had today, or talk about your dog. A mix plate of topics will be fine! Aloha
Dogs saliva has healing properties during the civil war they let dogs lick their wounds to make em heal better. They also let fly let maggots lay eggs in their wounds so they would eat the necrotic tissue, but thats a whole other disscussion...
hey all of you with hawaii ties. What did u make of john from cincinnati, and it being cancelled. I was probably one of the only people that liked it. I saw in the finale they started getting a lot more hawaii references in there. I just wonder what happened to steady freddy in the volcano 16 years ago,we will never know. Or Cass Kai is the mother of god, wtf? Sorry if this doesn't interest you Jorge.
hey, man, we can talk about what ever you want to, doesn't have to be Lost. Just want to say that Hurley's my favorite character! :) So do you have any cats?
YESSSSS!!!! Thanks Jorge - I'll be here every day (whether or not I post anything).
Had a dog that unwrapped a Snickers bar (I mean unwrapped - not tore apart the wrapper) and then ate everything but the peanuts. There was a pile of unchewed peanuts sitting there. lol - strange.
(sigh) And then we spent the night at the animal hospital (chocolate + dog = very bad). He was alright afterward, just really tired.
Oh yes Jorge please don't stop blogging! It's so awesome how much you are interacting with us - calling Jay and Jack, posting on DarkUFO etc, and just the occasional (the more the better of course) little blurb about how you are and what you're getting up to (besides Lost then, obviously) would be wonderful for your fans, myself included! Aww, your dog ate a rock lol! My cat each spinach, that's about as close as I can relate! :) But please, blog about anything! How is life in Hawaii? Have you learned to surf (I have an obsession with surfing - I want to learn sooo badly!!! But how how can you surf in friggin Denmark, the water is as flat as the ground!)? Did you have a nice holiday, and where did you go (somewhere cold maybe? Don't you miss snow?? Well unless you come from a place with no snow)? How annoyed are you with random fans commenting with a million useless questions, ahem? ;) I'll stop. But please please Jorge, promise me that YOU won't! Stop, that is. Blogging. You know. Yeah. Peace!
Congrats on breaking the World Record for the fastest plug-pulling in history! I'll call Guinness.
First of all, you are exceedingly generous to post at all and share some of your well-earned free time with fans.
Second, I completely understand the producers asking you to take this down, given the mayhem surrounding the S3 finale. But I think that your fans would probably have a lot of non-spoilery questions, even if it's just about your typical day, the relationships between actors, etc. I've always been particularly interested in the process of shooting episodes. Probably boring stuff to you, but for us, that's all gold to us!
Anyways, hope you can keep this blog up and again thanks for being so gracious with your time.
Oh and thanks for inspiring my screen name years ago.
Jorge, if you have hobbies, e.g. photography, cooking, videography etc etc, you can always blog about that. I blog a lot about video lately after I bought an HDV camcorder. Take care.
Hi Jorge! I think it's best that you pulled the plug. But it would have been fun to discuss the show with you. I am patiently.. (read: impatiently) awaiting Season 4 to begin. Lot's of love to you!! ~Bella
I hope you keep up with the blog - even if it isn't totally LOST related. You make everyone happy. I understand about your dog - though I have a cat now. She just ate a piece of bread. She scares me. Have a good one, and thanks for the blog.
Hi Jorge, what a wonderful surprise to discover that you're now blogging :)
Even though you decide not to post specifically about Lost, we´ll gonna be happy to see what you have to say.
I'm in Brazil, and around here the enthusiastic Lost fan base is very big, and like everyone else around the world, we're anxious to see what comes next in the show.
By the way, feel free to visit our Lost blog (all in portuguese) inspired in you character :)
jorge, you are absolutely brilliant. i hope all goes well on season four that and you keep up the same high standard you have managed previously. it would mean the world to me if you if you could give me an email to sort out getting an autograph because here in the UK it's impossible to get anywhere near comic-con or any lost events. if not, don't worry...i'll just keep on watching in awe. emails in the username ;)
Great job on Lost Jorge. Hurley has been one of my favorites from the beginning.
I have a question for you- What do you think of the DarkUFO Character Cup? Does anyone else in the cast know about it? If so, who are you guys all rooting for? (aside from yourselves, obviously)
Thanks for reaching out to the fans Jorge!! One quick question, since you have an idea when you will be finishing the show (hopefully the very last episode) do you have any plans after that? or you thinking of taking a little hiatus for yourself?
haha, are you trying to scare us into thinking all dogs are really testing us for edibility? So that maybe some of them will decide we are tasty enough and really will eat us?! I know - you're trying to make us all afraid of dogs and then when you've achieved this aim you are going to start your own empire and dogs will rule the world with you as their king!! I see your plans! :p OK. I may not be fully awake!!
We used to play with Roman candles on the 4th of July until our Golden Retriever started chasing the flaming stars and putting them out in his mouth.
After about a day, you have dog poop that ignites without starter fluid, but then July 5 isn't Halloween - so there really isn't much use for the flaming dog poop.
Hey Jorge why don't you talk about your favourite music. What bands you love and albums you own. I'm from Sheffield, England and we have a great band called Arctic Monkeys have you heard of them???
BTW loved it when you drove the dharma van through that other. Watched Dave episode last night as well.
Keep up the good work, dude! You could honestly write a blog about arranging your sock drawer everyday and us Lost fans would probably read it looking for clues. But about the dog...What does it mean when a dog licks it own butt?
You know what would be really compelling? A blog about what it's truly like to be a celebrity. I mean, everyone has a notion of how wonderful fame must be (and, certainly, there are many aspects that must be great), but at the same time, there are plenty o' pitfalls.
You could touch on how your life outside the spotlight is mostly like everyone elses' -- you have favorite TV shows, movies, books, music, you get up late, you have anxiety about silly things, sometimes you don't feel well, there are days you want to hug everybody and days you want to tell everyone off -- you know, regular life.
Heck, it could be notes for a book: Jorge's Hawaii, in which you detail moments in your life that are decidely not Lost. Favorite restaurant, friends around the neighborhood, kooky parties, quiet moments -- anecdotes galore.
Part of why I think this is a great idea is because of experiences I had as an intern in script development about 16 years ago (this is from my very short career in the film industry, so forgive a little name dropping -- the stories are relevant, though!).
I was lucky enough to talk on the phone with Jamie Lee Curtis, who, at the time, was starring in "Anything But Love." She had called our office to give directions to her house for a dinner party. And it was as though I was talking to anyone. Casual, how are you doing, here are the directions, oh wait, don't turn there -- you know, like talking to just about anyone in the world. Refreshing.
I even was lucky enough to have to call Mel Brooks house (I'm a huge fan). He answered (singing in that Mel Brooks way): "Hello?" Me, nervous: "Uh, hi, is Ms. Bancroft there?" Mel: "Just a moment." Muffled as he covered the phone with his hand: "Annie! Telephone!"
Or moving Cybill Shepherd's car for her (from one parking place to another). The car was a mess, like anyone's car, with CDs on the floor, papers in the passenger seat, a bag in the backseat, a half-empty soda can ...
Those were just such everyday moments that broke the veil of celebrity and made me appreciate, even more, all the work that goes into being an actor.
Well, we are talking about dogs, what about Vincent? :) It's just a joke, I know you can't talk about anything related with Lost.
This is amazing, just to think that you can't read it...I love the web.
You are so lucky to work in that awesome show, it is the best ever. And to work with Josh :P, maybe you aren't so happy about it cause you are a man, but me ...
Dile que le amo, jeje, si quieres...Bueno, a ti tambien pero menos.
Just know that even if you don't keep up your blog that you, in particular, are greatly loved by the Losties. I'd love to read anything you care to post, but I'd understand if you stopped. Good luck on the upcoming season!
I think we all appreciate that you even read DarkUFO. It is so cool for us fans! I just recently heard you are part Cuban, that is awesome if true. I am Cuban American myself. I truly appreciate that you & Nestor Carbonell are adding the Spanish zest to my favorite show! I also love the actors that play your parents. I would love to know your background & how you started your career, etc. Thanks Again!
Thanks anyways!! But don't leave this to dry ...write about something .... you seem like a pretty funny guy!
Do you get decent time to yourself? done any exploring of the island? I was there a few years ago and man was it awesome ...you don't get scenery like that up here in Toronto! You ever come up Canada way?
ha! this is funny stuff. post whatever u want. anything that kills a few minutes of time for me while i'm at work is divine. office jobs, ugh!
can't wait for the next season. to tell u the truth, i actually didn't even start watching the show until right before Season 3 started. people at work got me into it. i used to pick on them, but now i'm more obsessed than they are. i've since gotten other people addicted to the show as well. it's def more addicting than crack! keep up the good work!
So did u catch "John From Cincinnati" Jorge, I thought it was simuliar in genre to Lost, but it was a little too twin peaks for even twin peaks I'd imagine. I like some of the english interpratations that posters have put above...i.e. i want to hugeeeee youuuuuuu. As kid frost said best "this is for La Rasa"
Hola Jorge, me acabo de enterar de la existencia de tu blog. Creo que no estaria mal que de vez en cuando escribieras algun post en español ya que como bien sabes, somos muuuuchos los seguidores de LOST que vemos la serie en castellano.
Hi Jorge - thumbs up for hooking up with Dark UFO. He's done a great job with the site and keeping us all updated.
And please continue with the blog - I'm sure you'll find lots of things you can share with us that don't directly relate to the present and future Lost.
I was wondering about the big storm that was supposed to hit Hawaii and hope you weren't too badly affected by it. Funny how the first thing I thought of when I heard of the hurricane was "Oh my god will that delay production on Lost". Never mind the potential loss of life, property damage, etc. - it's all about Lost! Take care, Julie
WOW, amazing blog! and You like Hurley are very funny... You are one of my favourite people there......:) Good luck! And please sory for my English, but I am from Tje Czech Republic...:)
hi dude!! aaaaaa que emocion!! idolo!!! =D saludos de chile!! si algun dia te acuerdas de mi post mandale saludos a matthew y a evie si?? que siga lost como va esta muy bueno bye!!
I think my dog ate a finger on Magic Island! It might have been a hot dog, but if you know the type that hang out at Magic Island overnight...you might find more then fingers! How about you talk about some of your favorite places to grind. I know I like BC Burrito on Waialaie and Uncle Bo's on Kapahulu. How about you??
Could you talk about the past three seasons of filming? Things that happen behind the scenes? The recent earthquake? Michael Emerson (who is so hot btw) has done three interviews with an old buddy who does a podcast (Comic News Insider) and the most interesting stuff he talks about are behind the scenes stories (of episodes that have already aired). That way you can't let things slip.
But thanks for thinking of us and giving it a try anyway. And the rock thing -that's why I have a Maine Coon.
Non show topics make perfect sence, a good way to keep in touch with fans and not upset the Boss(es).
Would be too cool to get your input on this. I drive a 2008 Scion Xb that is themed after LOST.
If you are ever in Jacksonville Florida I would love for you or any of the cast to sign my car.
Adding a link to the car so you could *maybe* print em out and show fellow cast members, I really, realy love the show, and if you have any suggestions on some ideas for the car that would be cool too.
so heres the link it looks like it has to be copy and pasted, but its on DarKUFO's site (SFW,LOL) http://lostforum.blogspot.com/2007/07/help-me-pimp-my-ride.html
Thanks again Jorge for all of the fun for the past three and future three to come. Its an absolute blast!
I loved the last episode of Season 3. The scene with you, Sawyer and Juillet really made me cry, and I'm a guy (no rhyme intended :) ). And I bet you had fun driving that car into Ryan (well, a puppet of Ryan anyway)! So just wanted to drop a line and say all thebest luck for Season 4, and I know a lot of my mates have given up on Lost, but letting you know that i am still in it 100%. Even if we dont get all the answers in the end, it doesnt matter. Its been a great show, and I hope you keep in it till the end man! Cheers, and reply if you can!
Dan. (A NZ fan, hoping to get a small part on LOST in the near future!)
Hi Jorge. I´m lostieforever from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I got a blog of Lost,RaftReload-Media-. All the Lost´s fans are very worried about the weather in Hawaii. Do you know what is happening ? I hope all of you are fine. God bless you.
I want to talk about you! Tell us about your childhood, what do you do in your free time, how do you see yourself in 10 years, when you and the cast are coming to Brazil... ;-) So nice you have a blog !!! Bye! Letícia
are you really you? or maybe you pretend that you're really you because if i think that you're really you, maybe I would tell any kind of words thinking that you're really you... :S
Quero ver você traduzir isso aqui. Ainda bem que o seu cachorro come pedra, o meu é tarado por pé! E detalhe, você fala de cachorro e todos falam de lost, porque será? rsrsrs Boa tradução ai.
hi jorge, you are so great!!!....You could post here, for example how you like anymore actors in lost or their characters, for example something about Michael Emerson, thank you...Czech Republic send you love
Actually I'm more of a cat person. Any thoughts on feline appetite?
Seriously, though - dog, cat, Lost, whatever - you've got me hooked for good now. I'll be checking your blog daily, so let's just say that I hope you will keep on posting...
Hi, Jorge! This is Juliana, from Brazil. I'm glad you decided continue writing! :) I LOOOOVE dogs. I have 2, both licks a lot. But I think, in this case, it's just little kisses! Please, don't stop posting when the work starts for real, ok? Cheeeeers, kisses and see you! Jú Alves
Hi Jorge! I'm in Brazil! I love your work in Lost! Hurley is awesome! \O/ I love how Hurley makes fun of the fans =] I consider him one of the heroes of LOST :) It's so awesome how much you are interacting with us :)
Hello! At first, sorry for my bad english, but I'm a girl from Barcelona and I don't speak it very well. I think it's a very good idea to do this blog because it's an interesting way to know another way to be of yours, and also to know some things of the filming of Lost (and the filming in general) even if maybe finally you can't speak so much about those things. I've waiting! Bye!
Hello. I'm Vinicius Matteus from Brazil and I want tell you that you are very good actor, my fever caracter. And I can1t believe I1m talking with you. Please send me a message: vinicius12006@yahoo.com.br. I1ll be very happy. I bought the first and the second season just because i never see something so smart like this. Plese send me a message.
Eai Jorge Garcia!!!!!!!
I have a rabbit, a fat rabbit...but i don´t have seen my rabbit trying to eat a rock or something like that...just pasture (o pasto, no sé muy bien como es en inglés) however, my rabbit is fat...maybe the rocks do not make put on weight( o no hacen engordar, tampoco sé bien cómo decirlo xD) Oh, one more thing before to say goodbye
I REALLY LOVE EVANGELINE LILLY SHE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD (ES PRECIOSA!!) XD has she a blog too?? I would like to know?? can you give me the url of his blog??
Si no tiene, y le dices que haga un blog como tú, yo seré el más ferviente visitador de él, y te estaré agradecido el resto de mi vida...aunque puede que eso no te interese mucho pero en tu interior estarás feliz de ayudar a alguien como yo xD
Oh, my post is very long... this is the end...afortunately probably you will not read this post, or maybe yes :D Whatever...goodbye, good luck and PLEASE tell to evie that I LOVE HER oh, the last thing...VISIT MY BLOG PLEASE!!!! XD
Hi Jorge! I am a brazilian boy and i agree with you! The only problem is that when they realize that the rock, your personal objects is not food, your object is totally destroyed already.
I'm so happy that you have started a blog 'cause that give us a way to comunicate with you. This media gives us a way to tell you how wonderful work you do. Let me tell you that I have a very little free time, but the show is like a sane drug to me (i hope it's sane :P )
Keep the good work !!!
I'm waiting for your to visit my Lost Blog (it would be an honor :) ): http://foro-lostchile.blogspot.com
My dog licks me all the the time... oh god, does that make me food tom her?! I feel like I have the sizzling lines of deliousness floating off me. lol Great blog Jorge! : )
Oh well then, crap happens man.
ReplyDeleteLet's have a bear hug then. :D
lol finally you don't stop your blog thank you very much, i love to read here. it's very cool to share some times with your fan :) you and terry are so great to speak with us in the fuse, it's just sad that others peoples like josh, evie, dom...don't speak with us :(

ReplyDeleteEven with no LOST discussion, you'll still be a daily stop for me!
ReplyDeleteJorge...thanks so much for posting!

Dogs are the greatest!! My dog has never eaten a rock, but she loves to roll in dead animals and poop. Why is that?!
Hmmm.. what else to talk about *questionmarkguy*....
ReplyDeleteFood is always a good topic:D
What yummy stuff do you love that you can't find on the mainland, and vice versa?
A friend of mine had a dog that chewed up her father's false teeth!!! Ewww! =P LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope you continue to write here.
Lots of Love,
Cheryl
I don't have a dog but my sister has a hell-hound that has eaten most of her shirts, a cell-phone charger, a pair of glasses, 27.5 pairs of shoes, 10 pairs of my bro-in-law's boxers, 1 cat, and part of their wall behind the TV. I kid you not.
ReplyDelete~Allo.
P.S.
Lost or no Lost, I'll still read your blog, dude. You're too awesome for me not to read.
Yeah, better a rock than some things I've seen a dog eat.
ReplyDeleteGlad you've decided to try taking this in a different direction. At least you can clue us in to appearances you'll be making on shows and the like.
Stay the course man!
Aloha,
ReplyDeletemy dogs do that roll in dead animals and poop too! I hate that! One of 'em does just so he gets a bath 'cuz he loves baths. The other one runs away from any water except the drinking kind.

My dog chews everything, we got him a small soft toy reindeer for Christmas, by Chrismas Eve he'd pulled it apart.
ReplyDelete...but it stopped him from trying to hump the cat for a few hours at least.
Hey man! Don't stop posting, just don't post about the show. We all love hearing from ya! By the way, how is that stormy weather down there?
ReplyDeleteYou know, my father's dog used to eat socks
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're going to keep writting here. Whatever you want to talk about, I'll be reading it. I already asked you two questions at the Lage today...by the way, do you prefer people to talk to you in Spanish or English...
Hugs,

so sad to hear they want to shut you down but thanks for trying!! it really does mean so much to us fans. something else to talk about...movies and music are always something fun to chat about. as for dogs eating everything- i'm very thankful. i used to feed the food i didn't like that my mom made for supper to the dogs!! ah a man's best friend :)
ReplyDeleteHey, Jorge, glad to see you back. I told you about my dog, Hurley, yesterday. He's great, but he does have the bad habit of chewing up kleenex. I don't understand the attraction to that, but I guess it's better than rocks and poop. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering what being famous is like. I don't think I'd like to lose my anonymity. Just wondering how you feel about it. I'm sure there are perks, but do the perks outweigh the loss of freedom?
Any chance you could talk about stuff that's already happened, like from the last three seasons?
ReplyDeleteYou've had an opportunity to work with some really good talented actors.
Willie

Awesome blog. I hope you keep posting even if it's not work-related, bosses know how to suck the fun out of, well... fun. Even if they don't mean to. Hope to hear more from ya.

ReplyDeleteJust saw Born To Run again and enjoyed the Hurley line:
"No-one told Steve about the polar bear"
it also features a badass James Brown tribute :)
hey all of you with hawaii ties.
ReplyDeleteis that a picture of u or oliver platt elias?
ReplyDeleteheeeey jorge :D
ReplyDeleteyou kick ass. really
take care whatever you do with the blog!
That is one of the most profound pieces of wisdom I've ever heard. Long life to King Jorge!!!!
ReplyDeletehey, man, we can talk about what ever you want to, doesn't have to be Lost. Just want to say that Hurley's my favorite character! :) So do you have any cats?
ReplyDeleteYESSSSS!!!! Thanks Jorge - I'll be here every day (whether or not I post anything).
ReplyDeleteHad a dog that unwrapped a Snickers bar (I mean unwrapped - not tore apart the wrapper) and then ate everything but the peanuts. There was a pile of unchewed peanuts sitting there. lol - strange.
(sigh)
And then we spent the night at the animal hospital (chocolate + dog = very bad).
Blogging. You know. Yeah. Peace!
ReplyDeletemy yorkie eats nuts all the time, weird. Like jorge said they love to lick
ReplyDeleteHey Jorge -
ReplyDeleteCongrats on breaking the World Record for the fastest plug-pulling in history!
Yeah, that is what us Lost Bloggers are stuck doing, writing about the last three seasons and theorizing about it all.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do wish you were able to write about your thoughts openly. hmmm.....
Jorge, if you have hobbies, e.g. photography, cooking, videography etc etc, you can always blog about that. I blog a lot about video lately after I bought an HDV camcorder. Take care.
ReplyDeleteisnt the point of this to not talk about lost. The man is more than just hurley. Show some restaint or your gonna get the plug pulled again guys
ReplyDeleteDogs! I tell ya... you've got a rascal on your hands!
ReplyDeleteYou may want to hide those rocks from the pooch... you'll be going to the doogy orthodontist before you know it.
HAHAHA this guy has a point. hahaha
ReplyDeleteyes, I do think dogs assume everything to be food before they have a lick.
Hi Jorge!
ReplyDeleteI think it's best that you pulled the plug.
ReplyDeleteHi Jorge, what a wonderful surprise to discover that you're now blogging :)
ReplyDeleteEven though you decide not to post specifically about Lost, we´ll gonna be happy to see what you have to say.
I'm in Brazil, and around here the enthusiastic Lost fan base is very big, and like everyone else around the world, we're anxious to see what comes next in the show.
By the way, feel free to visit our Lost blog (all in portuguese) inspired in you character :)
Dude! We Are Lost!
http://dudewearelost.blogspot.com/
Best Regards,
Davi Garcia
Keep blogging man!
ReplyDeleteWe love to here what's going on at Lost Island, related or not!
Saludos de Chile Jorge!
ReplyDeleteNo dog stories but I have a question: Did you really drive down the hill in that Dharma van?
(Well, there is a dog connection: Three Dog Night!)
jorge! glad to see your still writing
ReplyDeleteas long as you write about something... anything
we'll all read it!
jorge, you are absolutely brilliant. i hope all goes well on season four that and you keep up the same high standard you have managed previously. it would mean the world to me if you if you could give me an email to sort out getting an autograph because here in the UK it's impossible to get anywhere near comic-con or any lost events. if not, don't worry...i'll just keep on watching in awe. emails in the username ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on Lost Jorge. Hurley has been one of my favorites from the beginning.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you- What do you think of the DarkUFO Character Cup? Does anyone else in the cast know about it? If so, who are you guys all rooting for? (aside from yourselves, obviously)
Can't wait for Season 4! :-)
I'm glad you decided to keep posting, albeit in non-Lost terms. That's kewl too, we just want to get to know you better.
ReplyDeleteDogs are surley strange creatures. Cute, but strange.
Dogs drool, Cats rule!
Thanks for thinking of the fans! You're awesome dude.
ReplyDeleteIs your dog with you in Hawaii?
Thanks for reaching out to the fans Jorge!! One quick question, since you have an idea when you will be finishing the show (hopefully the very last episode) do you have any plans after that? or you thinking of taking a little hiatus for yourself?
ReplyDeletehaha, are you trying to scare us into thinking all dogs are really testing us for edibility? So that maybe some of them will decide we are tasty enough and really will eat us?! I know - you're trying to make us all afraid of dogs and then when you've achieved this aim you are going to start your own empire and dogs will rule the world with you as their king!! I see your plans! :p OK. I may not be fully awake!!
ReplyDeleteWe used to play with Roman candles on the 4th of July until our Golden Retriever started chasing the flaming stars and putting them out in his mouth.
ReplyDeleteAfter about a day, you have dog poop that ignites without starter fluid, but then July 5 isn't Halloween - so there really isn't much use for the flaming dog poop.
Hey Jorge why don't you talk about your favourite music. What bands you love and albums you own. I'm from Sheffield, England and we have a great band called Arctic Monkeys have you heard of them???
ReplyDeleteBTW loved it when you drove the dharma van through that other. Watched Dave episode last night as well.
Ghos-T
Write about whatever you like dude. So very cool of you to do this!
ReplyDeletewow, ten pes se ale má...jíst kámen...
ReplyDeleteProof positive that cats are smarter than dogs. {runs for cover}
ReplyDeleteUž se těším na 4.řadu :P
ReplyDeleteif that's the case, pugs must be hungry all the time, because they lick everything nonstop
ReplyDeleteescribe en español tio que pa algo te apellidas garcia!
ReplyDeleteviva lost!
To bad that you can't make a Lost Diary. I keep reading this blog anyway. Huges from a spanish fan!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Dude!
ReplyDeleteThis would have been a great Idea, and given the hardcore fans something to keep the Lost fire boiling.
Anyway I Hope you have a great time filming season 4.
Jorge,
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work, dude! You could honestly write a blog about arranging your sock drawer everyday and us Lost fans would probably read it looking for clues.
But about the dog...What does it mean when a dog licks it own butt?
Hi Jorge,
ReplyDeleteYou know what would be really compelling?
So, anyway, that was a long post.
Thanks, Jorge!
Well, we are talking about dogs, what about Vincent? :) It's just a joke, I know you can't talk about anything related with Lost.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing, just to think that you can't read it...I love the web.
You are so lucky to work in that awesome show, it is the best ever. And to work with Josh :P, maybe you aren't so happy about it cause you are a man, but me ...
Dile que le amo, jeje, si quieres...Bueno, a ti tambien pero menos.
Un besito desde España.

Just know that even if you don't keep up your blog that you, in particular, are greatly loved by the Losties. I'd love to read anything you care to post, but I'd understand if you stopped. Good luck on the upcoming season!
ReplyDeleteHey Jorge:
ReplyDeleteI think we all appreciate that you even read DarkUFO.

You ever come up Canada way?

ReplyDeletecan't wait for the next season. to tell u the truth, i actually didn't even start watching the show until right before Season 3 started. people at work got me into it. i used to pick on them, but now i'm more obsessed than they are. i've since gotten other people addicted to the show as well. it's def more addicting than crack! keep up the good work!
Namaste from Brazil, Jorge!
ReplyDeleteYou, blogging? That's great news!
A guy with your sense of humor is always welcome...!
By the way, consider yourself invited to check out my blog: www.lostinlost.com.br.

ReplyDeleteJorge, from Chile. Buena onda compadre, sigue con tu blog. Aqui en Chile somos muchos los fanaticos tuyos.
ReplyDeleteSo did u catch "John From Cincinnati" Jorge, I thought it was simuliar in genre to Lost, but it was a little too twin peaks for even twin peaks I'd imagine. I like some of the english interpratations that posters have put above...i.e. i want to hugeeeee youuuuuuu. As kid frost said best "this is for La Rasa"
I'd read the blog any day of the week notwithstadning not having any Lost commentary. You're one of my favorite charachters!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jorge, can you tell me when we can see the bloopers of the Third Season?:D
ReplyDeletehi dude
ReplyDeletei live in La Coruña(Spain) and i love Lost. i need season four now!! february is so far... :(
I'll read you ;)
Hi Jorge - thumbs up for hooking up with Dark UFO. He's done a great job with the site and keeping us all updated.
ReplyDeleteAnd please continue with the blog - I'm sure you'll find lots of things you can share with us that don't directly relate to the present and future Lost.
I LOVE LOST!!!!!:-)
ReplyDeleteDogs, uhm. sometimes I'd like to be a dog. ¿A dog life? a cool one: sleep, play and eat all day and the possibility to f**k in public, hehehe.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of you writing some posts in Spanish is really interesting, I'd like to see that.
So, a non-Lost related blog... mmhhh. How about other series ¿what do you watch on tv? ¿have you seen Heroes?
Is really great having you blogging, Jorge.
Saludos desde Ecuador.
CeroCuatro
BTW, my first name is Jorge too ¿coincidence? ¿is Jacob or the Dharma iniciative involved? :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jorge, thanks for entertaining us!

esta muy bueno
bye!!
What's Up Jorge!
ReplyDeleteI think my dog ate a finger on Magic Island!
ReplyDeleteBut thanks for thinking of us and giving it a try anyway. And the rock thing -that's why I have a Maine Coon.
Que grande Jorgitooo!! Te saludo desde la Patagonia Argentina, excelente el trabajo que haces.
ReplyDeleteHi Jorge!
ReplyDeleteNon show topics make perfect sence, a good way to keep in touch with fans and not upset the Boss(es).
-Tommy-
jajaja, los perros comen casi de todo menos vegetales, al menos la perrita de mi tia no come ningun vegetal, los escupe ajja
ReplyDeleteHi Jorge,
ReplyDeleteJust been to see the new Bourne film which was really cracking. Are you much of a film fan , if so care to review your latest viewing?
cheers,
Ken
Hey man,
ReplyDeleteI loved the last episode of Season 3.
ReplyDeleteI hope all of you are fine. God bless you.
I want to talk about you! Tell us about your childhood, what do you do in your free time, how do you see yourself in 10 years, when you and the cast are coming to Brazil... ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo nice you have a blog !!!
Bye!
Letícia
Hey man, whatever you want to talk it's fine for me... Dude, you are the best men in LOST!
ReplyDeleteI'm from Brazil and here we love your work.
Forte abraço!!! Bye...
Hi Jorge!!
ReplyDeletePlease keep posting, even non lost stuff is great :D I dont have a dog but my rabbit Pancakes will just eat his way through cardboard lol
are you really you? or maybe you pretend that you're really you because if i think that you're really you, maybe I would tell any kind of words thinking that you're really you... :S
ReplyDeleteQuero ver você traduzir isso aqui. Ainda bem que o seu cachorro come pedra, o meu é tarado por pé! E detalhe, você fala de cachorro e todos falam de lost, porque será? rsrsrs Boa tradução ai.
ReplyDeletehi jorge, you are so great!!!....You could post here, for example how you like anymore actors in lost or their characters, for example something about Michael Emerson, thank you...Czech Republic send you love
ReplyDeleteJorge,you're the best!
ReplyDeleteI love you,dude!You're very cool!
The Brazil love you!
Ahhhhhhhhh... Era 108 comentários, so legal!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhh... It was 108 coments. So cool!
And dude, we're already on my Reader!
Actually I'm more of a cat person. Any thoughts on feline appetite?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though - dog, cat, Lost, whatever - you've got me hooked for good now. I'll be checking your blog daily, so let's just say that I hope you will keep on posting...
Hi, Jorge!
ReplyDeleteThis is Juliana, from Brazil. I'm glad you decided continue writing! :)

It's so awesome how much you are interacting with us :)

Lene Melo
Hello!
ReplyDeleteAt first, sorry for my bad english, but I'm a girl from Barcelona and I don't speak it very well.
I think it's a very good idea to do this blog because it's an interesting way to know another way to be of yours, and also to know some things of the filming of Lost (and the filming in general) even if maybe finally you can't speak so much about those things. I've waiting!
Bye!
Hello.

Keep blogging, man! Talk about the weather, places to go in Hawaii, life , the universe and everything else :D
ReplyDeleteNeat point about dogs, but cats are not that different: I had one who loved to eat cockroaches. EW :)
I know nothing about dogs - haven't had one since I was 10, but I loved finding out you have a blog :))
ReplyDeleteBeijo,
Carla

Hello!!
ReplyDeleteo Hola!!!
Antes de todo...
Entiendes español??
i can write in english too...
I have a rabbit, a fat rabbit...but i don´t have seen my rabbit trying to eat a rock or something like that...just pasture (o pasto, no sé muy bien como es en inglés) however, my rabbit is fat...maybe the rocks do not make put on weight( o no hacen engordar, tampoco sé bien cómo decirlo xD)
Oh, one more thing before to say goodbye
I REALLY LOVE EVANGELINE LILLY
SHE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD
(ES PRECIOSA!!) XD
has she a blog too??
I would like to know??
can you give me the url of his blog??
Si no tiene, y le dices que haga un blog como tú, yo seré el más ferviente visitador de él, y te estaré agradecido el resto de mi vida...aunque puede que eso no te interese mucho pero en tu interior estarás feliz de ayudar a alguien como yo xD
Oh, my post is very long...
this is the end...afortunately
probably you will not read this post, or maybe yes :D
Whatever...goodbye, good luck and PLEASE tell to evie that I LOVE HER
oh, the last thing...VISIT MY BLOG PLEASE!!!! XD
Perdón si me equivoco en escribir en inglés...estoy aprendiendo para hacero cada vez mejor xD
ReplyDeleteHi Jorge!
ReplyDeleteI am a brazilian boy and i agree with you!
The only problem is that when they realize that the rock, your personal objects is not food, your object is totally destroyed already.
But i love my dog anyway!
See ya!
Hi from Brazil.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the blog.
Even without Lost info it'll be great to read what you have to say.
Keep on the good work.
=)
Saludos desde Buenos Aires, Argentina.
ReplyDeleteQue andes bien.

ReplyDeleteYAY! You're back!! I'm glad you decided to keep it going. And what a fitting post about 'writing it down.' Here you are doing just that!
ReplyDeleteAloha.
Jane
LOL - You made me laugh my guts out - 'dog trying to eat a rock' :)
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of everyone, let me apologize for the morons that leave spam in your comments section. *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeleteMy dog never ate as many things as my cat does. We had to have a tassel surgically removed from his stomach. *facepalm*
Regards,
Jennifer ^_^
The licking part was hilarious ;)
ReplyDeleteMy dog has eaten a mechanical pencil, the plastic cap from my earphones, a full pair of earphones, paint, copious socks, undies, and shoes...etc
