Spider Monkey Mystery

So something weird showed up in my Spider Monkeys pictures.
It's like an orange blob. Not sure what it is. This is the original picture.
Now I'll bring up the exposure.
And lighten the shadows.
See the orange thing to the right?
What is that?

hmm...

Thomas said...

yeah, looks like a bag some one left there careless.

Thomas said...

The monkeys could use the bag (is it is one) to collect their food in there... ^^

Hi, Dude.
I think is another strange think of the island.
Now we have: the monster, the DHARMA initiative, Jacob and "the other guy", and the strange spider monkey mystery. Maybe Lost creators know what it is. :-)

JohnLeMay said...

It's the predator.

Tammy said...

Just throwing it out there, but how about a bird?

Mommycosm said...

Perhaps you had dorito dust on your finger when you took the picture?

Kinda neat though. Looks like one of those orbs you see on ghost hunting videos. Spooky.

Unknown said...

YIKES!!! The Predator???!!!

(I love it when he says "Want some candy?"

I see a giant frowny face in the middle of the trees.

shira said...

The frowny face is way more creepy.

Melissa said...

I say plastic bag also.

I also see the frowny face. It was actually the first thing I saw. Perhaps you should submit this to the Faces in Places blog?

I see that orange plastic bag thing, but what I REALLY see is that frownie face design in the trees.

It's the Smoke Monster. :)

Debbie said...

The first thing I saw was the frowny face too. *insert scary music*

The orange thing? Um, I think it's Jacob.

Erica said...

I also seen the scary frowny face in the middle!? Freaky!

Kelli Nicole said...

As boring as this is (and as a photographer who does this on purpose), it's probably just a sun flare :).

Unknown said...

It's an orange ram caught in the thickets.

Movie Star Wife said...

Maybe it's a tree-dwelling jellyfish.

Joan Crawford said...

It is clearly a festively decorated Darth Vader helmet.

But I also like the idea that it is the glowing orange ghost of Wilson.

"I see you, Jorge...now, watch my movie!"

Giant moth?

Goldfish...

Kellie said...

I have no idea what the orange thing is, but the trees form a giant frowny face in the middle of the photo. Or is it just me who sees that?

Bobbi said...

my guess flying squirrel caught mid glide.

At first it looked like a lens flare, but the branch looks like it is front of the flare, which most likely wouldn't happen.

From the looks of it, the blob looks like it is on a branch that is pretty close to you. You are not zoomed in, so if it were a bag, you would have probably seen it before you took the shot.

The thing that is weird to me, is that the tree looks like it makes a giant skull and the orange blob is an earring.

DykeZuki said...

Smokey? Actually looks like the face of a Salvador Dali Print.

Oh, Hi. I'm Tish, aka DykeZuki, a Friend of Dave (not that Dave) and Lynx. She brought me back your autograph from Hawaii. Thank You.

Danna said...

It looks like the exposed inside of a newly broken tree branch. Or I guess it could be a gremlin, alien, chupacabra(sp?) etc.

Jorge,

It's called a minature dust bunny on my lens! I know I've done it before!

Rowie68 said...

You guys see a frown... I see a mushroom from Mario. Guess I fail my Rorschach test!

Kaileigh Blue said...

Going to agree with lens flare. But it kinda looks like a trigger fish. How it got in a tree is beyond me.

Emily said...

I feel like it could be a sloth or a tamandua...but maybe that's just me hoping it's wildlife and not pollution

Jonny said...

OK, so what completely blows me away about all of this is that NO ONE has commented on the green anomaly also developed in this picture. It's very much green and I don't know why it would have been signaled out. Comments?????

Christina Bauer said...

Oh, it's obviously a UFO. I mean, what else could it possibly be?

Kristin said...

I say it's the spawn of Hamburglar.

Multiple Miggs said...

It's WALLLLLLLTTTTTT!!!!!

Ramon said...

It´s Mickey Mouse out there. Check out the trees.

Scary!

whiterabbita said...

It's clearly a radioactive mushroom, that grows on trees, because of a weird mutation! Be careful it could grow and fall down!

Rachel said...

just looks like a little female curled up

julianna said...

i vote that it is a sloth

Kelli Nicole said...

The green thing would also constitute as a flare.

Mellie said...

I see a face in the trees also. A big frown....

Charlie X said...

Looks to me like a fruit bat. the "Flying Fox" variety.

I, like others, am more concerned with the disappointment of the trees. Why so gum, chum?

nollyposh said...

...a ghostie!!! X:-o!

James Martin said...

Kim Binsted said...
