So last night we had a Pumpkin Carving Party.
And it was awesome.
I cooked chili and mac and cheese.
We also made caramel apples.

Those are some seriously awesome pumpkins. I have an uncarved pumpkin sitting in my kitchen that the kids are itching to get their hands on. I might just be inspired now!

Now that is an awesome idea for a party. My birthday is close to halloween (today, actually) and I have so many great memories of Halloween/Birthday parties. Maybe I will have a pumpking carving/birthday party next year.
Speaking of which, my kids are really hounding me to carve the pumpkins--guess we better get on it.

Neat! When we lived in Hawaii (2004-2005 and 2006-2008) we carved a pumpkin and a pineapple...you may want to look into that. Now we live in Japan and I'm buying my pineapple tomorrow!
