Wah....don't say that...today is hard enough!!! I just mowed the yard and finished the laundry, all so I can spend the entire evening parked in my chair (guilt free) checking you out :) That means I have to get dinner out of the way too, because from 7:00 pm to about 1:00 am...I will be LOST! This is like Stephen King's Dark Tower books...I limited myself to one chapter a day so the final book would last longer and it killed me to close the book after that last sentence, knowing it was over :( Damn...it's really gonna suck when the fall shows start and no new Lost/Hugo to look forward to...guess I'll stick with reruns...Everybody Loves Raymond and Lost...because Everybody Loves Hurley too!!!!!

Don't say that! I was outside planting flowers today - thinking about the LOST finale, and your blog. I'm excited about the finale, but sad that it's the FINAL finale.

My daughter and I are watching the special before the finale. We're alternating between being psyched out to find out what happens and heart broken that it's over. We've come to love each and every one of you, but Hugo is our favorite.
You're a wonderful actor, who has the ability to inspire our interest and affection for the characters you portray.
The ending was beautiful. I was crying at 7:30 when all of you were doing the commentary about the whole show. Then when it finally started, I lost it. (No pun intended!)

I knew all along that it would be Hugo to protect the island... in my mind, he was the only choice from the minute we saw the names in the cave.

Jorge, never commented here (but do follow your blog), but I wanted to say that episode was fantastic. I do hope you're proud of what you did there. The scene with you and Ben - actually, both of the more "climactic" ones - had me in tears. All of the talk of Emerson and O'Quinn getting Emmys is understandable and deserved, but we need to be talking about Garcia getting an Emmy. And who knew Hurley would end up being (arguably) the most important character at the end?!?
Fantastic episode; up there with the season 2 finale of The West Wing for the best single episode of television I've ever seen. Kudos to you, and thanks for 6 years (just over 4 for me) of amazing work. I can't wait to see what you do next.

A bowling alley in Brooklyn, New York gave a LOST finale party, and the biggest cheer of the night came when Hurley was ultimately given the responsibility for protecting the island.
YES! I did! and I LOVED it! I wish we had more island answers, but I cried like a baby! Thank you for 6 wonderful years! I'm out to buy all the DVD sets... :)

I cried during the scenes where Sun and Jin remembered, Sawyer and Juliet, Kate and Claire/Charlie, when Hugo cried cause he didn't want Jack to die, and most of all the part where Jack realized he died.... Jorge, Beth... You two keep us informed on things okay, love ya both, hope to have fellowship with you both someday.
They all died but not together, not in the same place. The "Alt. Flashes" were them living in a place where they could make things right or wrong. They each needed to find someone to help them "remember" the island, which was where they became a family basically. Jack died way before the church scene... the church was in a timeless place, yet after his death which he needed to realize. Ben stayed behind to help Alex and Danielle I'm guessing. He wanted love like the rest of them. Jack's son David may have been a guardian angel of sorts, not sure. But do you get what I am saying??? And Vincent was there to make his death more loving, rather than all alone.
Jorge, you were amazing in LOST and last night's episode was amazing! And you being number 1! Didn't see that coming, but it makes perfect sense! Thanks for 6 years of great entertainment. So is there going to be another show that shows yours and Ben's adventures?

Hi, I just wanted to say that LOST is the best show ever, and that without Hurley, it wouldn't have been the same. I hope that your character makes it through to the end of the finale. Jorge, I'm still crying over the emotional rollercoaster of "The End". I'm happy, but sad. There will be a huge void, that will only be filled by countless hours of revisiting LOST via Blu-Ray. ReplyDeleteJorge, never commented here (but do follow your blog), but I wanted to say that episode was fantastic. I do hope you're proud of what you did there. The scene with you and Ben - actually, both of the more "climactic" ones - had me in tears. All of the talk of Emerson and O'Quinn getting Emmys is understandable and deserved, but we need to be talking about Garcia getting an Emmy. And who knew Hurley would end up being (arguably) the most important character at the end?!?

I cried during the scenes where Sun and Jin remembered, Sawyer and Juliet, Kate and Claire/Charlie, when Hugo cried cause he didn't want Jack to die, and most of all the part where Jack realized he died.... Jorge, Beth... You two keep us informed on things okay, love ya both, hope to have fellowship with you both someday.
ReplyDeleteThey all died but not together, not in the same place. The "Alt. Flashes" were them living in a place where they could make things right or wrong. They each needed to find someone to help them "remember" the island, which was where they became a family basically. Jack died way before the church scene... the church was in a timeless place, yet after his death which he needed to realize. Ben stayed behind to help Alex and Danielle I'm guessing. He wanted love like the rest of them. Jack's son David may have been a guardian angel of sorts, not sure. But do you get what I am saying??? And Vincent was there to make his death more loving, rather than all alone.
