Happy Lost Day! My profile picture is the cake I made to celebrate today with my fellow Losties at work. We are all so excited. I saw the first hour on Saturday and no one will let me talk about it. Hopefully I don't explode before tomorrow. Looking forward to the second hour tonight. AWESOME!!!!

Congratulations on being part of a show that has the best writing, acting, and cinematography I have ever seen on TV. I am so glad ABC let it run its course instead of canceling it like networks do too quickly now.
Happy L O S T day to everyone! This is the first season I will be hosting an official viewing party at my place, and I can't wait for the beginning of the end! Now where can I find some of that Dharma Beer...
Woohoo! We're having LOST night at our house. We're having sushi (which we decided counts as a thematic food) and no one is allowed to talk to us for three hours. As a surprise, I'm also printing labels for Dharma beer. :D
We're also excited because this is the first year we can record it on a dvr. Now we can rewatch stuff instead of frantically yelling, "Oh my god! What did he say? What did he say?!"
Now we'll be yelling, "Oh my god! Pause it! Go back! Go back!"
Can't wait for tonight in some respects, but at the risk of playing the end of the story before we get there - will miss it! Looking forward to the ride on which we are about to embark, and to your next projects.

Which reminds me, as IT specialist at a large boring company, let me say this..."People do not buy viruses on the Internet, you can get them for free!!!! If you are dumb enough to buy a virus please do not ask for my department to reimburse you. Because you will be denied."

I was at the Beach Premiere, but the red carpet was too crowded for me to grab any great pics. Part 1 was too awesome for words, and the whole experience is something I will not forget! I came in from LA and took Ryan and Jen's tour package, BTW.
I set my TiVo to record every show with Jorge Garcia, Evangeline Lilly, Daniel Dae Kim, Matthew Fox, Josh Holloway, Elizabeth Mitchell, Terry O'Quinn... and my TiVo says LOST is on tonight!!
So I'm recording the show AND watching it in person! I'm ordering a special meal, but Garganos doesn't have a wild boar topping - maybe pineapple! It's a special night - thanks Jorge!
Ok...I'm watching it right now..sawyer and juliette are kissing...oh fuck she just died...that sucks bites and blows. I keep yelling "wtf wtf wtf" at the tv...sigh*..but you rock..the luckiest guy in the world..
LOVED it!!! SO glad you are all back, my week is complete now. :) Curious if you were surprised to learn details so early in the season that we've been waiting so long for.
Just got back from a major premiere party at a theatre in downtown Dallas. We packed two auditoriums, had door prizes, it was awesome. If you get a break in your schedule, you should try and come and hang out with us for a night.
That was an amazing episode! Simply awesome. I loved it when that man asked Hurley wheter he had open the guitar case and he answered "Maybe". =D I like the way how Hurley can make those funny comments without it taking away the seriousness of the scene and I belive I have you to thank for that. =D I don't think any actor could do that but you're doing an excellent job on it.
great show! I had to stay up to midnight to watch the entire thing because I flatly refuse to record and watch it later. It just doesn't seem as good when it's recorded.
I really want to kick Locke's butt today. WTF!! How long has he been Smokey? Since his first encounter in the jungle? Since Henry strangled him?
I got the feeling that everyone on that plane seemed a little let down once they arrived in LA. Like.. their lives are all pitiful.. why would they want to go back to them?
And Hurley.. I didn't get that part... Luckiest guy in the world? Didn't Hurley go to Australia to see that guy because he thought the numbers were cursed? If the numbers are no longer cursed, why did he go to Australia?
BRAVO! At first I was a little peeved with the clip show AGAIN - but the two hours after made up for it. :) You are by far the best actor and the most realistic character on the show! :)
LOL - I had to watch via Skype from Aruba b/c we don't have TV at the house. My husband pointed the web cam to our TV in NH. Wasn't perfect, but I got to watch.
Really going to miss the rush of watching LOST. And, I must say...
Hurley gets the BEST lines!

Man, Lost challenges me so much I may never have to worry about getting dementia in my old age. My brain will have been on overload as it is.
Babe I tell you this all the time but just THANK you for Hugo. It has been so COOL to see everyone grow as characters and to watch the ways that you all have done that with them as well. I know these people so well now~~~man, I going to miss them!!!

I saw the season 6 kickoff and thought it was excellent. And I like the "take charge" version Hurley in the scene where you needed to take Sayid to the temple for his injury. I got flashbacks of the beach walkie talkie scene with Sawyer.
I just started watching it. I'm at, "oh...this is so gross", "I have a gun, I know how to use it". And it appears you're seeing dead people again. Thanks, for keeping it real, Jorge!!! You're the best:)
I just noticed that the last episode of Season 6 is called "Everybody loves Hugo." Sweet! Btw, my husband and I are still laughing over you guys' rat incident! Beth is cracking me up! :)
I didn't get to go to the beach on Saturday ... Booo... :( Even though I love the show I didn't want to have to chase my 1y/o and 5y/o all day at the beach to "claim" my spot. Wish I could have seen it and all of you!! Anyway, I watched last night, it was awesome but now I am totally "lost" as to what is going on! LOL You all did great, loved the first show!! :)

Jorge--LOVED the season opener! How fascinating! We are thrilled to see you and all the other cast back in action. Wow, this is my favorite show EVER. BSG didn't really hold a candle to LOST (my husband made my watch it, and while I got into it, it was so freaking depressing every week, to the end).
I can't wait to see what happens this season. And I'm not going to cry when the show ends--it's really true, knowing there is a final ending (like with a good book) keeps the story alive. But I will really miss your characters. :)
Yeah, that WAS great: "I have a gun and I know how to use it.." Jorge, I am SOOOO glad to learn you have a blog and so many devoted followers. I am a bit if a Techno-Retro and I had NO IDEA. Just got back from a major premiere party at a theatre in downtown Dallas. We packed two auditoriums, had door prizes, it was awesome. If you get a break in your schedule, you should try and come and hang out with us for a night.

I like the way how Hurley can make those funny comments without it taking away the seriousness of the scene and I belive I have you to thank for that. =D I don't think any actor could do that but you're doing an excellent job on it.

great show! I had to stay up to midnight to watch the entire thing because I flatly refuse to record and watch it later. It just doesn't seem as good when it's recorded.
ReplyDeleteI really want to kick Locke's butt today. WTF!! How long has he been Smokey? Since his first encounter in the jungle? Since Henry strangled him?
I got the feeling that everyone on that plane seemed a little let down once they arrived in LA. Like.. their lives are all pitiful.. why would they want to go back to them?
And Hurley.. I didn't get that part... Luckiest guy in the world? Didn't Hurley go to Australia to see that guy because he thought the numbers were cursed? If the numbers are no longer cursed, why did he go to Australia?
BRAVO! At first I was a little peeved with the clip show AGAIN - but the two hours after made up for it. :) You are by far the best actor and the most realistic character on the show! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL - I had to watch via Skype from Aruba b/c we don't have TV at the house. My husband pointed the web cam to our TV in NH. Wasn't perfect, but I got to watch.

Babe I tell you this all the time but just THANK you for Hugo. It has been so COOL to see everyone grow as characters and to watch the ways that you all have done that with them as well. I know these people so well now~~~man, I going to miss them!!!

ReplyDeleteI saw the season 6 kickoff and thought it was excellent. And I like the "take charge" version Hurley in the scene where you needed to take Sayid to the temple for his injury. I got flashbacks of the beach walkie talkie scene with Sawyer.

I didn't get to go to the beach on Saturday ... Booo... :( Even though I love the show I didn't want to have to chase my 1y/o and 5y/o all day at the beach to "claim" my spot. Wish I could have seen it and all of you!! Anyway, I watched last night, it was awesome but now I am totally "lost" as to what is going on! LOL You all did great, loved the first show!! :)

Jorge--LOVED the season opener! How fascinating! We are thrilled to see you and all the other cast back in action. Wow, this is my favorite show EVER. BSG didn't really hold a candle to LOST (my husband made my watch it, and while I got into it, it was so freaking depressing every week, to the end).
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what happens this season. And I'm not going to cry when the show ends--it's really true, knowing there is a final ending (like with a good book) keeps the story alive. But I will really miss your characters. :)
