  2. He's a great live performer too. Has a kind of Johnny Cashish road hard walking the whiskey line vibe. Check out his Daytrotter sessions too.

  3. I must say I really enjoy your taste in music. You've introduced me to Vampire weekend and now to A.A. Bondy who is awesome! Thanks!

  4. Dude, he is awesome. I assume you've heard the last album American Hearts? The song 'vice rag' on that album got me playing guitar again after 5 years...like 2-3 hours a day.

  6. This is the mental image I get...you, listening to this song, while eating an overweight blueberry, while getting your hair braided! :) What a grand life you have...

  11. I just wanted to thank you for the signed photo of yourself that you sent my son. We received it in the mail yesterday and needless to say we are giddy with excitement. It means the world to my son who you addressed it to. We have it framed and sitting with all our other family pics. Every Tuesday is LOST night when all of my family and friends gather to enjoy snacks and of course watch LOST together. Again, thank you so much for taking the time out to make a young boy feel special.

  19. Listened to a clip of it on iTunes, downloaded the entire album, listened to the album nonstop all day, and downloaded "I Can See The Pines Are Dancing" as my ringtone.

    I kinda like it :)

And I LOVED you in "Lighthouse" last night - just recently got my parents to watching LOST, since January they have watched all but the last few episodes of season 5, and you are also my Mom's favorite on LOST.

  21. "I just lied to a Samurai!"

One of the best lines in TV history. Your performance in last night's episode was really great Jorge, it's nice to see your character develop. Now take off that red shirt.

  22. I love the song. And I agree with Amanda that you were just great on LOST. Hurley is one of my all time favorite characters on the show. I'm pretty sure he is one of everyone's favorites. So thanks!

  23. completely unrelated to your post, but i have to say, I am REALLY excited and enjoying Hugo's progression this season of LOST. Can't wait to see where it goes!

  24. Groovy sounding stuff. I hadn't heard of A.A. Bondy, but I may have to track that one down. Something in the same ballpark that I've been digging is Neil Halstead's "Oh! Mighty Engine." Halstead started his career with the shoegazing Slowdive (one of m favorite bands), but is now into more of an acoustic thing. It's solid, laid-back folk-rock. While you're on 'the island,' give a listen to Johnny Cash's cover of "Aloha Oe" on his 'new' album. The rest of the disc is pretty darn good as well.

  25. Hey Jorge! Thanks for Six seasons of fun with you character. I think that you must see these videos: It the real spoiler about the island!!!!!

  27. Unrelated to this-read about the tsunami warning, hope you guys are safe and sound.

  28. Stay safe out there. Here's hoping the tsunami will be small, and without too much damage. We've got family in Mililani, well inland...but I can only imagine the disruption the entire island must be feeling right now.

  34. I just downloaded the whole album! I work as an animator in crappy old Assachusetts- just sittin' in a chair, drawin' all day- and I can always use new music. Bondy's sunny and a little sad at the same time- perfect! BTW, the whole animation studio is one big group of nutzoid Lost fans. Thanks Jorge!
