Dude, When is someone going to tell the graphics guys to re-render the opening LOST logo and fix the glitchy black polygon edge on the S? As an industry insider, I can't tell you how much that bugs the !@#$@# out of me that someone let that slide. If you can't re-render it, spend like 5 minutes in PhotoShop retouching it. Sheesh.
It's like a masterclass :D You've got to get a few new inflections in there for season 6.
You should have a behind the scenes bit on you practising your "dudes" with the likes of Emmerson & O'Quinn singing your praises for a skit on the final DVD extras :D
side note to Brett - aren't you bothered by the O as well as the S? It has to be left that way now, it would be strange to see it "finished" for the final season.

Yes-My first thought as I watched it was to post the link Rachel did to the What? clip. That's even funnier, because as many times as I've watched some episodes, I never really noticed it. It's really funny to see all together like that.

That is the original rough version of the opening title that JJ Abrams made on his Mac and they just decided to keep it. We've all seen it. I look for it every time. If season 6 started and it wasn't there I think I'd be annoyed. This isn't Star Wars.

Jorge, In my tirade, I never mentioned that I think Hurley and all his "dudes" etc. are absolutely critical to the success of the show. For most of the viewers, he is the character that they can most easily associate with, and he often gets lines that are what people are thinking in their heads, especially when rapping with Miles. While I think the finite story arc is the right thing to do, we're going to miss "all y'all" when it wraps. Let's hope Dominic's "Life after Lost" is the rule of the day.
@BubbaCoop Hah, that logo was rendered by JJ himself?! Ok, keep it. While the show "isn't Star Wars", it does have some awesome SFX moments (and a decent budget) that made me wonder how they could have let the title glitch slide.
Oh, and while I've certainly been known to beg attention, in this case it was more like, "MY STUPID PET PEEVES: LET ME EXPLAIN THEM".

When I got the first season on DVD a few Christmases ago, some friends of mine and I sat and watched it with a drinking game on hand... the main rule that I'm sure gave us the "fuzzy forehead"... one shot/sip for each time Hurley said "Dude".
If we were seasoned lushes, we'd give it a shot with all five seasons in tow. That's probably not gonna happen.
Don't know if snyone else has posted this thought, but my friend Denise (martinistation) and I were thinking of LOST drinking games. We came up with "Dude", "Sawyer Nicks", "Ben Linus Gets Beat On" "Sawyer Gets Beat On", and others. We decided we'd play after Season 6 so we can understand what we're watching. Oh and the game will probably be all of the above.
Heh. My husband didn't know what I was watching, and finally out of frustration goes, "DUDE!" I near wet myself. Love you Jorge, we look forward to you brightening our home again in Feb!!
