Did I Ever Tell You of the Time

I swam in shark infested waters?
You look at these pictures and think,
"Who would be crazy/dumb enough to get in the water here?"

Well, this guy would.

And I'd do it again.

  3. Jorge this is your good angel speaking. I know it's getting stressful at work. It will soon be over.

Leave the shark infested waters to the sharks...

And try not to pet them.

    Snorkel in Gods fish tank.

  5. I think I saw the Dharma logo on one of those sharks!

OK, not really, but you knew one of us LOST geeks was gonna say it, so why not me?

Looks like fun, Jorge. I'd maybe do it too someday, if I ever had the opportunity.

  7. Oh.. and I saw my first Lost commercial on TV last night during "V".

It was bitter-sweet. I'm so excited for "Lost" to begin but I don't want it to end.

  8. Diving with sharks is Amazing and I'd do it again too! Your pictures turned out awesome! It's a strange feeling being the one in the cage, instead of the other way around, isn't it? :)

  9. Now that is something I've never done. If I survive indoor skydiving next month, I'll add swimming with sharks to my list.

    Way cool!!

  10. EEEEEEE!!!

That looks really cool, but I'm not sure I could do it, even with a cage. You're pretty adventurous!

  11. You are really brave. I would probably have to really be talked into doing something like that. Though, I guess if you've done it once, then it's probably a lot easier to do it again.

  12. Never in 1 million years, not even for a milion dollars. Try asking again when it's time to pay the bills.

  13. Jorge,

Next time leave the cage behind - we want to be where the action is, albeit with you holding the camera!

  32. That is so wicked awesome!

Being a lifelong fan of sharks, I thank you for demonstrating that sharks are majestic and worth saving--not terrifying monsters waiting around for people to swim by for the eating.

  33. Nope, I'll pass on the swimming with sharks. The most dare devil thing I've done, since my tom boy days anyway, is white water rafting and driving in LA. That last one makes me feel like I have tempted the fates enough.

  34. You have got to take advantage of the fun that comes your way. When would you get another chance to do this? Go for it. Meet your fear and conquer it.

  38. If you ever get a chance to go to Bora Bora- do the swim with sharks and rays. The only they only use a little yellow rope to keep the sharks at bay, and the rays rub up against you like cats. The rays also swim up the chests of the guys who run the tour that feed them. Very cool.
