  4. Twitter is for celebrities who don't care enough to write ACTUAL blogs! You don't need no stinkin' twitter! LOL

    : ) P

  5. I 2nd Petra!
Your Blogs are much more enjoyable than a 140 character tweet!

  6. Twitter is for people who have delusions of grandeur.

Same with those hands-free Blue-tooth thingies. Nobody is so important that regular voice mail wont suffice. And besides, nothing makes a person look more psychotic than when they are walking down the sidewalk talking to themselves.

  7. Thanks for the warning. It's so weird when people try to imitate celebrities.

  8. Yeah, someone has what I think are fakes for Evangeline Lilly and Josh Holloway too.

Don't do Twitter - it is poop. Over exposed poop.

  9. You can probably get Twitter to remove the fake account, if you want.

  10. This is why I first liked you. B-)
You don't like for your fans to be misled.

And that is why I have BEEN a fan ever since.

  11. Ha, you know you've made it big when somebody impersonates you on Twitter.

  12. Kiwi874 - I came here to post that EXACT same comment!

  13. Why *aren't* you on Twitter? Twitter is fun, don't listen to the naysayers above who don't get it.

  14. Lol, nice to know that you aren't following all the sheep onto Twitter. Also, I don't think that you need to join it. After all, you've got you're blog here, and that's how you commonicate with all your fans.

  15. Are you sure it's not the future you come back to right some wrong that only twitter can correct. Maybe that explains the missing CD's, not to mention the whole shoes not here now their back hiccup. Crap.. that just gave me a headache....

  16. Not to mention the fact that somehow my user name showed up as Henry. I don't even know anyone named Henry. See there's some kind of rip in the space time continuum...

    It was a twitter trap

  17. Your blog > Anyone's Twitter account.

Far more amusing and in depth!

  18. Hey -- I think twitter is pretty good about removing accounts that impersonate other people. You should send an email to their customer service requesting that that account name be changed or that a note be added specifying that it is NOT an official account. It's trivial to change an account name on twitter, by the way.

  19. Twitter is am waste of time and space. I checked it out for about a week... and well... I am there no longer!

  20. I want to see you on twitter, too! You'd quickly get thousands of followers. And they have a new service that verifies celebrities. My twitter name is wacvet.

  21. Maybe it's another Jorge Garcia? Before I was married, I was Jennifer Johnson, and here in Minnesota we're a dime a dozen.

  22. Twitter is sooo boring. I gave it up. Just b/c you want to say something doesn't mean you should, ya know?

    mindless....mind numbing...annoying= twitter

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm on facebook which has a similar function as twitter. I don't have any need for posting every step I take in the day or every thought that passes through my mind. If I'm not posting it on Facebook I have no need for posting mindless drivel on twitter either lol. :p So I don't

Ultimately I think everyone has different needs for where and how they share themselves on the net. If this blog works best for Jorge's needs I for one think its the best.

Stick with what works best for you Jorge. Your blog is fantastic the way it is. And so are you and Beth.

    ((((HUGS))))

  24. I'm glad to hear that, because I would probably break down and get a Twit account (or whatever they call that) if you had one. I'm a blogger, but not really one to um..."Tweet."

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sorry that people do that kind of thing, man. That sucks. I guess they think they're fans paying you some sort of tribute or something...but who wants fans like that?!?

Maybe you should check out his "who is" page and start posting under HIS name... ;)

  26. Twitter is boring in my opinion. I just don't get it.

  27. I've been on Twitter forever, before it became so popular. I find it fun to use but I don't tweet every time I take a step.

Just like facebook, blogs, or the Internet in general--Twitter is for some people and not for others.

But I agree with the people who said your blog is better than any 140 character tweet could ever be Jorge, and thank you for that!

  28. Good to know Jorge..thanks..Just wondering if you helped Evangeline celebrate her 30th and if so could we see a pic or two?

  29. Hi, Jorge!
    I'm not a "Twitter-type", either.

Just wanted to let you know that when I click on your newer (about the disney disguise) post, I keep getting a "page not found" message, or I'm directed back to this post. Another cyber glitch, I imagine.

  30. Jorge,

Me neither! Couldn't be bothered with that useless social network! I make, and lose, friends the old fashioned way! :-)

P.S. Not the oldest fashioned way! :P

  31. I like Twitter. I don't do it all the time but I have traded tweets with people who have the same interests as I do so that is cool.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I know I'm late in posting this, but your blog is much more personal than a twitter!

  33. I know I'm late in posting this, but this is much more on a personal level. It gets us to know the real you. Thanks for that.

  34. Please DON'T go on Twitter. It would draw away from this blog, which is a lot more thoughtful than a measly 140 character tweet ever could be.
