It starts with a spectacular plane crash

That will change their lives forever.

Thanks for the plug Heroes.

Just kidding. But it would have been sweet to work with those guys if they did crash here.

  1. Would be full circle for Greg Grunberg, no?

  2. Well, you did work with one of them at least :)

I believe Matt Parkman was once known as the Pilot of Oceanic 815.

  3. Seriously, i thought that too.
I used to like Heroes a lot, but lately it's just not doing it for me. -- Their reviews are so bad, they're stealing taglines from other brilliant, successful, shows...:)

  4. I couldn't believe it when I first saw that promo. It's been clear from the start that Heroes wanted (and largely got, at least at first) the LOST crowd, but that promo is really hilarious.

  5. Ha, I thought the exact same thing!

  6. Heh. I was amused by the parallels, too.

Of course, in my dream world, Damon Lindelof, Tim Kring and Ron Moore all get together to make a movie.

  7. So it was Hiro, Parkman and company who were shooting at Locke, Juliet, etc. in the canoe last week. *slaps forehead* Of course!

  8. Hombre.. Parkman era el piloto que estrelló el avión en la isla!...XDDD

Empecé Heroes.. pero le falta algo... le falta mucho para ser Lost ...

  9. Looks like someone already wrote the script: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Gk0-o1X1s4

  12. haha, I thought the same thing. For a second I forgot which show I was watching. Love the show & your blog, btw!

    -a long time fan.

  13. Wait so there isn't going to be a Hiro and Hurley spin off after the series is over???

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hiro and Hurley together, wouldn't it rock?? haha xD

And what about Claire? I guess Hurley would forget Libby... ;)

    See you on wednesday! :)

  15. I thought about that briefly when I saw the landscape of plane debris on last night's episode of Heroes. Even if you do not love LOST (which is hard for me to imagine, btw) you have to recognize how much t.v. shows these days are pulling from it. I wouldn't say it's an attempt to rip off LOST, but the idea character driven storylines all interweaving together. That's totally LOST.

  17. I realize they are all over the internet, but I ran into a great LOST reference at Red Vs. Blue....its Red. Vs. Blue PSA #36: First! Its about new things to say on an internet forum. If you watch it, make sure to watch it until the VERY end. It made me laugh.

  18. Further proof that Heroes cannot come up with original material - even though I love Greg Grunberg.

  19. :)

Of course a whole bunch of my friends and I are convinced that Alpert is actually a cylon ;)

  20. Nice promo! Your idea reminds me of the episode where the Russian Cosmonauts, Ivan and Igor, came to the island. Woops! Wrong island.

  21. It's sad. Heroes had so much potential. And I love Greg Grunberg.

  22. Nothing to so with this particular post... Why isn't the whole time travelling thing creating paradoxes (is that a word?)
    Or is it?
    Hmmm.

  23. I didn't even know Heroes was still on. ;)

  25. I'm sorry, but I really, really, really HATE Heroes. I'd rather watch America's Best Dance Crew. No joke.

  26. ^Wow... that says a LOT! I've tried to watch it, but I can't seem to grasp it.

Either way, the idea of "Heroes" meets "Lost" for some strange reason made me think of the episode of Scooby Doo where Batman and Robin cameo.

  27. Just found your blog, been reading through - brava!! Very entertaining!!

  28. Heroes once was a great show, but just isn't doing it for me lately either. But because Lost is such an awesome show, other shows just have to acknowledge it in some way.Plane crash -just trying to get ratings to improve. But I agree with AG Wooding, a Hurley and Hiro spinoff would be awesome!

  29. I used to love Heros the first 2 seasons. It was my filler show when Lost was on hiatus. I just can't get into it anymore though.

  31. Lost/Heroes mash-up has already been done, check it out, quite funny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjVdzIg9nEM

  32. I had wondered if The Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis) would make an appearance on Lost, probably working with Widmore, but I quickly rejected the idea.

  33. On second thought, Locke was part of the Millennium Group, so maybe having CSM isn't that far-fetched.

  34. Jorge,

You never know, maybe Lost and Heroes has a mystic connection (one that I wouldn't know about since I have never watched Heroes).

    ReplyDelete
  35. I would diiiiie of happiness if there was a crossover.

  36. I thought the same thing when the showed the Heroes previews last week. That would have been awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  37. That would be SO cool! Maybe you could do a guest spot on Heroes.

  46. In 1981, ed hardy and his wife formed Hardy Marks Publications. In 2004, Christian Bale licensed the rights to produce the high-end Ed Hardy UK line, which is based on Hardy's imagery. Prior to the ed hardy clothing line, Bale was the Head Designer at Von Dutch Originals, which marketed the imagery of Kenny Howard. Don ed hardy, commented, As demand for my artwork continues to skyrocket, I felt it was ed hardy clothing time to take on a partner that could help me manage the demand and opportunities for the ed hardy T-shirts name. Iconix is at the forefront of brand management and clearly has the capabilities to dramatically grow the Ed Hardy UK business. I'm thrilled to have them as a partner. Cheap Ed Hardy are located in everywhere. We also believe that by owning the brand alongside ed hardy clothing, the founder, there will be opportunities to further leverage his iconic name along with his new artwork.
