Have I Told You How Cute My Dog Is?

She is freakin' adorable! I mean look at her.
And she does the cutest things. Like babies in general, she's always putting stuff in her mouth. Today I saw her trying to crawl behind the couch and then she was trying to eat something. With a firm statement I got her to drop it. And here it is.
It appears to be the skull and neck bones of a gecko. Adorable.
Now I'm going to go wash my hands

  2. well... my dog likes to eat dog poop! and he doesn't just drop it after a firm statement from me so I usually have to go in there and pry his jaws open and take it out - ya know - with my fingers! eww gross!

  11. Years ago we had a yellow lab who barfed up a groundhog's head on the living room carpet. It still had eyes and hair and whiskers but I guess her stomach determined that it was a non-digestible item and decided to reject it.

A few months later that same dog had a tapeworm (probably from eating the groundhog) that came out when she pooped but got stuck halfway. You haven't experienced "adorable" until you've had to pull a tapeworm from your dog's butt with a paper towel.

  16. Little Nunu!!

Scout does the same thing~~black and tan doxie~~always wants something to put in his mouth.

He sleeps at the foot of the bed under the covers and still tries to dig a hole in the bed. Does she do that? Then he gives me a look like "What do you mean NO?"

Now and then I wake up and look over and there he is~~~on his back, covers up to his chest, paws up~~~snoring his heart out.

  17. Jorge,

Yes your dog is adorable. Be thankful it isn't a big dog like a German Shepherd. Geez what terrible beasts those are. My brothers dog once came back once with a fresh chicken in its jaws. Where the heck does a dog get a fresh chicken? Geez!!!

  18. I decided to put Scout's mug here~~~he's an adorable handful. lol

  22. Im glad I have a cat.... it keeps other cats off the property, eats my big spiders (Im scared to death of them) and catches the mice - and never presents me with any of the thing he catches (he keeps it all to himself, LOL). But cute dog... a tiny one, the kind that always barks like mad ????

  29. e.b.g i had thought the same :)

For me all the lizards are just lizards :) I didn't even know what a gecko is.

  31. Aaaw your dog is so cute.
My puppy also eats everything... we've had a few incidences with rubber bands and chewing gum.

    And half eaten bunnies :(

  32. Yes Nunu is adorable....the gecko skull, not so adorable. Kinda like how cats bring their owners dead mouses as presents.

  33. All my life I wanted a chihuahua, and I got my wish fulfilled last October. I've had all types of dogs before and loved them all...but this little fellow takes the cake. It's true, they are as bad as little kids for chewing anything they find. I'm sure your little gal is as much fun and as good of a companion as my little guy is. Enjoy!

  34. Awwww, I love you puppy!! So cute!! And a little nasty at the same time.. :)

  35. aawwww, what a nice little gift she brought you!!!

  36. Jorge, por que with the underwear on Nunu? I don't think she like it too much. I know my cats do not like to wear my glasses either...

  37. Wow...the weirdest thing my dog has eaten is paint. And an earphone.

But she used to try and eat anoles when we lived in Savannah. Fortunately she couldn't catch them.
