Hey gang.
If you see me out and about and want to take a picture with me. It's cool almost all of the time.
This is when it's not (this is obviously not a complete list but use your best judgement)
1. When I'm at dinner. Just like you don't want to be interrupted when you sit down to a meal with friends and family neither do I. If you catch me coming into a restaurant or exiting after a meal that's totally fine and not a problem. But if I'm in a middle of a meal I'll ask you to wait until we've finished.
2. And this is the reason I'm writing this today. Do not ask to take a picture with me after you have "secretly" already taken numerous shots with your camera. Trust me you are not being subtle. I see you, that's why I'm turning away. Just ask I say "yes" almost every time.
Thanks for understanding.

I totally understand you Jorge, people should let you enjoy your life the same way they like to enjoy their own.
I would also like to say that you did an amazing job on the 'frogurt' mobisode. When he asks what you were doing in Bernard's tent, you make your line 'nothing.' sounds so funny! It's great how you can turn a simple word into something great!
Another thing: It's nice that you have this blog so we can hear from you and make comments.
Best regards from your Brazil fans!
Jorge: You are so great to your fans by having this blog. You come across as so "real". Hopefully, us fans will respect your privacy, let alone having a meal while the food is still hot!
You are a true gentleman.
That's absolutely right. Fans should not disturb you, while you are enjoying your meal with your family.
In case I would meet you I would wait until you finish your meal and then ask you to take a picture with me.
But probably I don't have any chance to meet you, because you are in Hawaii and I'm in the Czech Republic :(
Bye, Lukas.

I totally understand what you're saying. And I don't think it's unreasonable at all. But for the record, I wouldn't want to be in your position for all the money in the world. Being famous must be so hard.
Hi Jorge,
I was on set when you filmed the third mobisode: Hurley and Frogurt, Was just a couple of feets away and hey there was some rain in the air at that day.
Was your turn away, because you saw us handful fans just at the beach? Some took secretly pictures from you, although we were told not to do. I didn't, took different pictures, but i would have appreciated it you wouldn't have turned away also not when you finished filming!

Otay Panky!
hi!
i´m one of the followers of this
wonderful blog.
I thank you for writing it and being true about who you are.
Most of famous people don't identify themselves online...
An actor or actress is very lucky because can live so much more than other "ordinary" ppl.
By this i mean that you can almost understand other ways of be.
they get to enjoy some opportunities this career brings to them.
oh and also you get to be the first to know what happens on lost hehe.
but by the other hand your personal life is troubled by others. who think about themselves first than others or don't have the heart to respect them.
Thank you again for this blog. keep writing.
I´ll not take more of your time... till a next time maybe :)
This reminds me of when I was on the radio and I'd fumble to get the tape recorder out to get a station id and at least twice I had people scream at me because they thought I was surreptitiously recording them. In both cases the apologized the next time I saw them, but it made me feel horrible for 6 months or a year, however long it took for us to be at the same party again. I think it's totally fair for you to feel like you do and it's very important for you to publicly state how you want your life to be so that everyone knows this about you. but I have a sneaking suspicion that the people with the camera were more scared than rude. I know that was true for me.
LOL Sorry Jorge but given the opportunity, I would jump at the chance to be your Stalker.. Look Out.. LOL
That is totally understandable! I would never act like an amateur paparazzi if given the opportunity LOL (though I doubt we would ever cross paths)
I cannot imagine being looked at and photographed while trying to enjoy my meal. I couldn't handle it!
I have the SAME problem.
Being sexy IS a demanding job!
Ouch! I just saw you at Disneyland, and I totally did that! I didn't even know any of this about you. Someone sent me this link to your post in response to my photos I took. I am very sorry! Next time I will definitely ask!
If you want, here are some photos of you hanging out at DL. ^_^
It's you
You again
I saw you last night after dinner and inwardly (I think...) freaked a little but hope you didn't notice. I'm a huge fan! Didn't get up the nerve to say hello but definitely would have had I read this blog before. I know this is an ancient post but it seemed topical. Best wishes this Thanksgiving! And, I love crepes, too :-D
