Finally a game that brings my love of gardening and zombies together in one title.
The premise is simple, you plant your plants which fend off zombies from coming into your house.
What else do you want out of a game?
I thought I could play this game passively, on occasions when I'm bored.
But like zombies to your brains this game keeps pulling me back in.
The game also feature the greatest, although most likely by accident, tribute to the late Michael Jackson.

That screenshot of the lawn can't be of an actual game you've played, right? Because: dude. You NEVER put sunflowers in front of your pea shooters. Sunflowers go in the VERY BACK, so they can be protected. And why are there no wallnuts in the front of the lawn, to keep the pole-vaulting zombies from running down the entire row? I mean, WTF!?

I've been so addicted to this game for the last week. I've beaten the game, but now I'm addicted to the Zen Garden part...
Ha! That's hilarious! Now I wanna play. Though I don't need another computer game to get hooked on...
Now I can say to my best friend that there are other people that like this game! It's pretty cool the idea of mixing zombies and plants^^
but you didn't link to it, so those of us who like new weird games can try it out. guess i'll be googling it.
One of my favorites was "War Of The Monsters"...very cool game with classic old Hollywood horror movie undertones.
I also like zombies a whole lot. Not in a, you know, invite the undead to my house kinda way, but in more of a I-must-hunt-down-this-game-and-play-it kinda way.
OMFG!!! My son has been OBSESSED with this game for months! He's going to be amazed when I tell him you love it, too!
I love that game! My daughters (3, 6 and 7) always want to watch me play it...

try typing "future" or "mustache" (without the quotes) while you're playing...and see what happens!
Pop Cap has some great games. Have you tried "Chuzzle"? I HAD to get all the trophies. Do you know how long it takes to pop 1,000,000 Chuzzles??? :)

Cute game. Are you allowed to call something with zombies cute? Anyway, my husband is a big fan of anything zombies and loves games like that too. He likes to play Typing of the Dead.

I LOVE this game! I've finished all the 'missions' but am trying to unlock and beat all the mini games so that I can get the gold trophy! :D
lol, i have completed the adventure mode and all the mini games, was really fun and addictive, the only zombies that annoy me are the diggers, who dig a hole and come to other side ._. they are so annoying, can't wait for season 6 :X

I love Plants vs Zombies! I am in the second layer of fog right now. I can't get my sunflowers to produce fast enough. I don't know if the light would help. Very fun!

My husband started playing this about 6 months ago. Now I'm hooked too, and our 3 year old also loves it.
Between the three of us we've clocked a good 100+ hours. Its ridiculous.
I know what you mean about being addictive though.
At the moment my goal is to fill my Zen garden with plants earned by playing different levels, and to grow my tree of knowledge to 5000 feet (I hear that's the max for getting cool things to happen).
Awesome game. (And I'm not really a gamer either)
P.S. Unrelated, but I assume you've seen Dr, Horrible by now. Also very awesome.

We've been addicted to this game all summer too - even the kids. A friend's 5 year old even chose PvZ as the theme for her birthday party yesterday! Check out the pictures... There are Zombies on My Lawn!
